But I guess you're right, I can imagine how that sort of thing would be popular. There's always someone unhappy with some aspect of their lives. But, I'm not sure I understand who it serves? Do the people "volunteering" still have their own lives after...? Who's personalities are being written onto the memory drives? It doesn't really sound like a transfer of consciousness...?
