[It's rare that Rey lets herself be seen on the network... because of reasons. While not too defined, the scar-faced woman sports various snake-like traits of Sanguis, her skin splotched by spiky maroon scales and green eyes with slitted pupils being more piercing than they would be normally.

[What more, she doesn't appear to be hanging out in any abode of her own (though some might recognize her as the thief burglarizing people's homes and stealing their food and monopolizing showers). Despite the biting winter chill, she's hanging out at the Greatmoon Groves in a tanktop and no jacket. Somehow, she doesn't even shiver when she speaks:]

"Been working on this thing called 'trying not to starve and die' and guess Moonlacing's supposed to help not do that. Handholding only gets you so far before one of us gets tired of sweaty palms, so looking for other options under the right conditions.

"First, not down to fuck some random, so don't ask and don't expect a dicking on the first date. Not into that, anyway.

"Second, if this is our first conversation, then we meet in public. That way we can figure whether our shit's going to work out or not.

"Third, respect boundaries or perish. Think this one goes without saying, but just putting that out there." [Judging from her rigid stature and musculature and the fact that she can likely grind someone's bones into red candy, she means that.]

"Anyway, heard that fighting each other works for Chroma as well, long as both parties consent. Would like to stay sharp--" [and not get her ass thrown by another GODDAMN robot again] "--so looking for people who aren't made out of gelato that can handle that. Am pretty strong, so don't be gelato.

"Want to go somewhere outside but you're too chickenshit to brave the cold? Can help keep you warm or whatever, too." [Is that why she's not bundled up despite the weather? Why yes, yes it is.

[...Is there anything else she's missing? She's not used to being this long-winded-- Oh, right:]

"Name's Rey, by the way. Should've probably started with that, not knowing who most of you motherfuckers are and all.

"So yeah, that's all."

You know, we were actually moonlacing when we were dancing together last month!

[ Konoka pointed out. That familiar face was one she'd been seeing from place to place. ]

I'm not trained well in physical battles so uh, I can't help you there. I can help you if you want to say, lean on me. Or help me train my aura so I can wander around the snow while wearing less stuff. Or even get intimate.

Why didn't you just ask me?
I posted last month, but I generally am willing to take sparring partners.
Teaching I ask for payment, but if we're sparring/both learning we both get Chroma so it works out

I'm okay with knife-fighting, as well. :)

being a late bloomer doesnt help.

[Neither does learning that she stumbled into a robot's home and realizing she didn't have the strength or Chroma to keep her energy up, so... yeah, there was that.]

Mmmmm, think of it as very fine magical control. I can cast a spell that keeps my body temperature even despite the cold. At my current level though I still have a bit of a risk of burning out on energy. So... trying to stop that.

Ah, get it. Am not that much different, just without the... magic shit.

Controlling heat as normal seems to burn Chroma as well now, so. That would be mutually beneficial, at least.

Yeah that's... part of the reason why I'm having to practice again. Casting magic drains Chroma, which is a thing I'm... still getting used to!

So I gotta work on it!

Being able to moonlace and make up the difference is very helpful though!

Fighting can indeed provide a source of Chroma.

[In fact, it's one of the more frequent ways Xemnas comes by his own supply thereof.]

Additionally, should you still be seeking to find partners for same, I should be more than willing to offer assistance in that regard.

Any type of physical touching works for Chroma, so you're right about the fighting. And if you're still looking for someone to spar with, I'd be happy to.

But yeah, I'm more than willing to spar (and get injured, as long as it isn't intentional).

I have enough control that I'm confident in my abilities. I assume anyone else willing to would feel the same.

[ Roxas doesn't do videos. Nor does he usually pay much attention to the network but as the Chroma grind is a real struggle for him, an offer for something that's not physical intimacy gets his attention. ]

Depends on what you're offering. If it's fighting, that works for now. The whole touchy-feely shit is... odd.

Am still looking for people to fight. More the better -- for the Chroma. So, will be happy to take you up on that.

if we're being real here then yeah - it means more than one thing.

[It's taken a lot of getting used to how things work around here, but she's also weird when it comes to people touching her. Not that she's had much of it going on in her lives for her to just... get over it.]

wont try to hurt anyone intentionally. been fightng a long time before coming here. can heal fast, too, tho that also seems to burn up chroma so mutual sparring is ideal anyway

doesnt really matter, just want to make sure the people offering arent soft. can pack a pretty heavy hit. been meaning to exercise other abilities as well, test how much chroma reserves affect those, so any amount of help is appreciated.

Yeah. Every spellcaster I run into had the same issue, and it's the same deal for people who use stuff like chi or innate energy or whatever.

Me, I prefer to think of it as ways I can have fun, and touching lets it last longer!

[Rey runs a hand down her face with a sigh. There are still a lot of problems with this, but adapting is key to survival -- and she's not ready to die yet.]

"Fun" is subjective, but can get what you mean. Just need to find ways to make this work in order to stay, and have been somewhat lacking in creativity. [She's got that much down now, thankfully.]

hand to hand mostly, tho melee weapons and firearms works too

can take a lot of heavy hits without dying so that wont be an issue

[ And, not too much longer, Konoka would show up wearing her usual casual outfit, with a heavy jacket as protection. Unless Rei deliberately hid herself, Konoka wouldn't have much difficulty finding her. ]

i'm having issues with losing too much chroma in fight too.

i fight with special weapons.

[Lucky for Konoka, Rey didn't make much of an effort to conceal her whereabouts, opting to stand in a pretty high traffic area near the entrance.

[Oddly enough, she hasn't been met with too many confused looks or offers for help, though her Sanguis traits might have something to do with it. Whether it's the aggressive nature that comes with them or the Moonblessed such as herself being attuned to fire, she hasn't yet parsed out yet.

[It's no matter, though. She just offers a single wave with a red-scaled hand, a forced neutral expression on her visage.]
