I have a few queries for anyone who wants to read, since I've been a little absent lately and had a while to let these build up.

Firstly! For those of us from some facsimile of Earth, are you excited for whatever Lunatian equivalent there is for Valentine's Day? How do you plan on celebrating, if so? I'm not sure of what grandiose gesture I'm going to perform, but if anyone can play musical instruments, I'd like to enlist your help! Also, if you want to get your love fortune read, I do own Khan el-Khalili in Caihong, and do tarot reading.

Secondly, a discussion got me incredibly curious about the cultural spread here in Lunatia amongst the Moonblessed! Especially food-wise; I'm Egyptian, myself, and I think it would be fantastic if we could organise some sort of potluck or...I don't know! Some sort of culinary cultural exchange! If anyone's interested, I'd love to hear ideas and the like! You can thank user Jaguar for this idea; they gave me the inspiration and deserve due credit :)

Although I can't say I'm up to date on the actual story of Saint Valentine, I know that the holiday's used to celebrate love and affection between people. I also know that people go on about how commercialised it is, but I think that you don't need to spend a lot of money to show your love, if you don't want to. And in a place like this...An occasion to celebrate love, no matter the nature of said love, is precious. That's what I think. And I'll gladly do a reading for you, Alucard! Do you want me to give you a map to the shop, so you can come down whenever you like?

I'd love to try Wallachian cuisine, too! And I'm sure that Jotaro would too; at the very least, he'd be touched by the thought, I know.

Eating humans is illegal, but that doesn't stop some Beyondians from trying. But eating other intelligent Beyondians is not an uncommon practice. My friends and I once visited a restaurant that served conscious faefolk. We left immediately. Before that, Leo picked a place that he thought served clam chowder, but it was actually called clamcuhou-something or other. Turns out that it looks exactly like clam chowder in a bread bowl, except there's some sort hellbeast inside that extends upwards and eats the user alive.

I vastly prefer human food.

Even though it won't be Sanguis on Valentine's Day...It will be Iris. So a chastity belt won't help much, I suppose. How about...You show up at your boyfriend's door? I think that spending time together would be a fantastic present for Valentine's Day.

The best part about Valentine's Day being Western is that both women and men can give gifts! There's no 'men can but women can't' or vice versa. You simply show your husband your love and appreciation however you like, and he can do the same!

I believe it's on the 14th of this month, but I'm not sure about Lunatia's traditions, so it'll be interesting to see how they're similar and different.

Yes! In Japan, there's Valentine's Day, and White Day, and one is for women and one for men. But in America and Western countries, there is just one day for everyone! It's funny how different parts of the world can take one thing and make it a little bit different for themselves.

That's a good question, though! I feel the same about my relationship with my partner. I think, for me, it can go one of two ways; simply see it as another day because for you, the holiday is every day! Or make something grand out of it, and get a little bit silly about it if you can.

Because I have a lot of chroma and I haven't been in love before coming here, I think I'm going to make an occasion of it. I'm going to try and cook things from his home, wear something formal, and maybe take him out to a musical or do something that he'd very much enjoy, so that he feels especially spoiled. Something as simple as doing things they enjoy but can't always do, I think, is enough to make it special!
