(Sometimes in order to get a better state of mind, a change of scenery is necessary. Daenerys has found a larger home for herself and Drogon. The ceilings are high enough for the little dragon to fly short, safe distances. He lets out a series of happy sounds as he explores his new domain.)

Well I have his approval. (Daenerys has often been expressive with her wardrobe and that hasn't changed. Her clothing is more modern by far. Pants are easier to move about in and, with a belt, her sword and dagger are tucked close by.)

I am hosting a house warming party for any and all interested. Alcohol is welcome, so no one underage, please.

(As cute as she finds children, she must be a proper mother about this.)

And if we haven't spoken, that is of no consequence. As long as you aren't intent on ruining things, I will be happy to see you.

(She ends the transmission with her address, a date - on the weekend - and a time.)

I'm sure there's some kind of extendable cleaning apparatus specifically for such high ceilings. If there isn't I can probably put something together for you.

[ She smiles a little wider, nodding her head. ]

[This is a much better mood on her. Ren is very glad to see her doing better, though for the sake of how heavy their last conversation was he won't bring it up.]

I should probably ask what you consider 'underage'. It seems to vary a lot here.

I do not believe I have attended such an event, prior.

[Still, he's pretty good at not ruining things, when he wants to be.]

Then you are overdue. (What is there to ruin? All you have to do is eat, drink and enjoy yourself, Xemnas.)

The age does vary and so I leave that up to your conscience. I will only object if someone is obviously a child.

(In appearance, mainly. Adults are allowed to be childish and drink all they want.)

He isn't a pet; he is my son. (So tame in the sense he is loyal to his mother.)

A dragon. (Daenerys smiles happily, enthusiastically picking up the subject of her scaled son.) He is the last of his kind in my world.

(He is in good company with her and if she is fond of him, Drogon is sure to agree. Unless you are hiding ill will towards the singular Targaryen. He will know.)

Should you come across anything useful, I wouldn't reject it.

(Houses need a lot of things to be comfortable. Thankfully Daenerys can do without most of the towels and so forth in the kitchen. She is never burned!)

Drogon likes meat, unsurprisingly, and I would like comfortable items to fill this space.

You might have found it a more trying task when he was larger.

They? Dragons?

My brother told me of all the dragons my family rode. They had personalities like their riders and few were known to outlive the Targaryen they bonded with initially.

However there were dragons in the wild too. Dragons that refused to be bonded or tamed by human hands.

Just me. He lost his brothers before we arrived.

I would put it to good use and be grateful for your generosity. I wish I knew more about machines.

(She had been spooked by light bulbs, so it might be asking a bit much.)

My family has ridden dragons since we resided in Valyria hundreds of years ago. They are extinct - or thought to be. If I had the chance to acquire more eggs, I might be able to help them hatch.

(She blinks slowly and nods.)

It's strange for me to accept that so many think they don't exist.

No. They were once - my family rode them into battle and to travel from place to place. But they were over-hunted and many thought of them as monsters.

(She clearly doesn't agree with the assessment.)

He is the last.

Our dragons don't sound very different at all and, truly, it wouldn't surprise me if some of them learned human speech. (There is wisdom in Drogon's gaze. She knows he understands her and that he can read her emotions as easily as if her heart had been laid bare before him.)

His brothers were green and gold respectively. I would say Viserion was the most flamboyantly colored with Rhaegal close behind. His green was bright like new Spring buds.

(But her boys are - were in the case of two - young. The oldest dragon in human record had been over two hundred and massive. Drogon could grow to that age, but she won't see it.)

He did. They perished before we arrived. (And then she had died too, leaving her poor boy alone in the world. But she can be with him here and that is why she gathers him into her arms.)

It can be difficult to withstand. I can't drink much wine myself or I feel myself becoming impaired. That isn't something I relish, though I have met others who disagree.

(Daenerys sits down with Drogon draped across her lap, gently checking the dragon's claws.)

I am from Westeros, but I was raised in the East. I only returned to Westeros briefly.

I will cherish whatever you bring. (Gifts mean even more to her now than they did in Westeros. She uses them to build a nice home - a place of belonging. She no longer desires a throne.)

Yes, you are very tall yourself. I noticed when we danced. (Daenerys grins.) He looks like a good companion and I certainly wouldn't cross him.

Oh! I beg your pardon. I've never seen a dragonborn with wings and a tail before, or so young.

[ His apology is sincere, thinking she's the mate of a dragonborn and that must be their child. ]

You have quite the story with dragons, hm?

[It's kinda fascinating.]

I admit I would be more shocked to see one if I wasn't used to their holograms from back home. [They did a good job at making dragons pretty realistic looking.]

Could make enemies just as well that way, too.

[Come on, Rey. You break into people's homes uninvited all the time. At least this one time someone's taking the initiative to invite people over.]

Useful... I assume you already have furniture and the like?

[He would think so, anyway.]

What about your blade? Has anyone taught you how to maintain it?

[It's not the same as a light saber, but he could maybe get his hands on a whetstone for her? Or something. He's still turning over the idea for now.]

Wow. [ Rose breathes, smiling a little. ] He's kind of magnificent, isn't he?
