If no one is serious about it, meeting would just be a social exercise. I'd still arrange it, but unless the would-be associates are looking for a club to join it won't serve much purpose. In the minimal case we would be little more than a network or directory of interested parties for collaboration.
But yes, if it looks like there's a chance of something substantial I'll arrange more meetings. The first will be nothing but a slightly deeper survey of everyone's intent in any case.
