[Hello Lunatia! Rin is here in front of the camera again, giving an awkward wave. He was dressed very nicely earlier in the day but by this time in the night he's down to a loosened tie and collar of his shirt unbuttoned down a few buttons. Anyone who had gone by Nissan's Teppanyaki on Crystal Beach today may have been disappointed to find a "closed for kohaku's birthday! sorry! - rin" sign scrawled on paper and taped haphazardly on the door.
At least he would have had the sense to call his employees and let them know ahead of time.
In any case, the clothing is the result of said day with said girlfriend. He wanted to spend the day with her alone and didn't bother making a big to-do about it on the network since this was really their first chance to celebrate it properly since they started dating.
It did get him thinking, though, and he's bringing that rare intelligent thought to the network.]
Hey all. It's my girlfriend Koahku's birthday today~
[He grins, flashing fangs and tail wagging behind his back.]
Don't worry I'm not here to make a big deal about it.
[Even though he wants to. Some people just get so cranky about birthday posts!]
It actually got me thinkin'. See, we didn't meet here. We met in another place that we both got dragged to, kinda like how people get pulled here. Heh, the welcome here was way better, mostly cause we didn't wake up in a gross well and cold water.
But, yeah, Koahku wasn't there as long as I was and got sent home before we both wound up in Lunatia, I was there for a little over a year. It was uh...
[Any smiles fade completely at this point and he fidgets, a darkness coming to his eyes as he shifts his gaze away.]
It was not a good place. We didn't have any resources. Everythin' was missin' color and part of our reason for bein' there was bringin' it back through quests. Food without color was like ash, and stuff could lose it just as fast as it could gain it. Whoever or whatever was actually in charge of it all could also take powers away, if you had any, though it didn't happen super often. We were attacked by a lotta things and the entire forest around the village was filled with really freaky mutated animals.
It was called Chroma Village. Or that's what we called it. I don't think we ever learned what it's name really was even by the end. Yeah, yeah, I know the name is kinda fucked when you think about us gettin' thrown here right after.
[He lets out a huff and drags a hand through his hair, any effort he had put in to making it less messy all undone by now.]
Anyway, I bring this up cause... well. I've run into some people I knew back there, but I guess they just don't remember me? And I've talked to others who have also been to other worlds before this one. Is there... anyone else from Chroma Village here, or is it just us two? Also if you wanna ask us anythin', go for it. I can drag Kohaku over for anything directed at her.
[He scratches his cheek and ponders a little more before shrugging.]
