[ After playing around with the device for a bit, now that they finally have time to settle in after the vine madness, Fish has the thing mounted nicely at an angle high enough to give the network a nice view of their head to the top of their shoulders—much like a beauty blogger really. They’ve got an eye for beauty and they put it to use here. They have a bare face at the moment, but it’s still a pretty face with smooth purple skin that fades to lilac on their face, their throat, and the front of their chest. ]

I suppose if everyone is using this thing to ask questions, I might as well ask one of my own.

[ They take a small brush loaded with sea green pigment and draw it over each of their eyelids as a thick eyeliner with practiced, precise movements. ]

Cosmetics and clothing. Has anyone gone shopping recently? I’ve noticed this place is just far too different from the one I know. So I think I could use some guidance. Or some company. Company preferable.

[ They chuckle to the camera and shimmy their shoulders, like a practiced coquettish performer. They pop open a small glass jar of deep purple pigment and another brush. And they quickly fill in their lips with the same neatness as their eyes. ]

There is a lot I want to acquire if I’ll be staying here for a while. So, let me know if you’d like to go shopping.

Oh, by the way. In case we haven’t met... you can call me “Fish”.

I thought so! I just couldn't believe it at first since I've only heard legends of merfolk back home. I know it's a bit ironic, considering I have horns, but it's true. You're the first one I've met.

I kinda wanna join the Moon Knights. [Then she clasps her hands together.] They sound exciting! [And justice-y.]

I have a feeling our tastes will clash, though. But I can at the very least tell you what looks good on you.

[The moment Fish sees her eyes light up, they swore their heart felt like it had just been stolen. What is this sorcery?? Why is she so cute?? She is precious.]

To be honest, I had nothing in particular but... there does seem to be a lovely bakery not too far from the apartment block where I am. I'm guessing that most of us Moonblessed are here, so hopefully you know of that place too?

Enchanté. Equal parts insurance policy and habit at this point. Although I suppose it could be a statement as well.

[ There is only one person that calls her "Gwen" so there is a small pause on her end as she thinks of that individual. Fortunately, for Fish, she is on very good terms with that person. It invokes a small smile. ]

[ Fish speaks brightly, just basically being the most enthusiastic fabulous merfolk that they are. ]

[ She glances down at whatever shoes she has left; they're almost completely worn out to her bare feet. And she's nearly wearing rags at this rate due to the wear and tear. ]

It would be nice to have something that wasn't stitched in three pieces, I suppose.

Really? Thanks! [She chuckles, then straightens up - well, as much as she can while seated and being about five foot four in height.] I've helped solve cases back home and I still wanna be a hero of justice!

[Not the answer he was hoping for, but he'll take it. He has literally not met anyone else who would even think of encouraging his tastes.]

[Fish gives her a look. Like an "oh darling yes we really need to take care of that okay" kind of look. When Fish speaks again, their tone has a more determined feel to it.]

We. Are. Going. Shopping. Tell me where you are and when you're free and I'll swing by and we'll go shopping!

Interesting. I'll respect that.

[Fish wonders if a handsome face could be hiding behind the mask, but the video probably doesn't give them the best view. Maybe they'll have better luck meeting in person.]
