[ The video starts with a blank screen and a muffled sound. The one operating it has yet to get used to such technology. After a little blackness, the screen focuses on the Firbolg. His skin is a sickly grey fuzz, drawn in around the cheeks, a little unhealthily thin but not gaunt. He smiles, both his eyes and the shock of mohawk hair are a very natural-looking pink. When he finally speaks, his voice is has a very low, relaxing timbre to it. ]

Oh, hey there. Is this on? Am I sending or however this works?

[ Turning his comm around a few times until he was back in the frame. ]

I eh, let's start again, shall we? My Name is Mister Clay, Caduceus Clay and I just wanted to offer my services to anyone in need really.

[ Oh God, he's not used to public speaking. This is kind of terrifying. ]

Well, healing magic is my forte, among other things. So, like, yea. If anyone needs any healing or their mind calmed, oh, I can also do that too, calm you. I'll uh, I'll be around and willing to help out. I've heard these moons do strange things to folk, wouldn't want anyone hurting when they don't need to.

[ He pauses for a long moment. Contemplating ending it there before finally adding. ]

Oh, um and, one more thing... If you've seen anything, anyone dying or dead around the place... Give me a shout? I'd really appreciate it, thanks.

[ The firbolg blushes at the compliment. He knew he had high charisma but he's never really used it just in chatting to a new friend like this. Slightly distracted by watching her finger tap her lip until she speaks again. ]

Well, I'd love to come over. I have just the tea to share with you, to toast this new friendship with.

[ Genuinely excited as he looks over the address. He's going to have to ask one of his roommates to tell him what it says and point him in the right direction, but he'll be there. ]

Miss Minarii, I look forward to this encounter.

[ ooc: Would you like a thread of them meeting in person? ]

[ Smiling, Mina puts her network-thing down and makes sure she has her nice tea cups out, picking at a few areas in her very pink and crystal-filled home to make it a little neater (it's very neat already).

Then she waits for the lovely pink person to come and have some tea and pastries with her. He seemed like such a cutie, and it had been a while since she had a guest. ]

[ It takes him at the very least an hour, maybe an hour and a half? He had to get one of his housemates to read the address and point him in the right direction, but neither the less, Caduceus shows up at Mina's door, rasping on it with the back of his knuckles.

He was dressed in his normal long, emerald green billowing trousers, that hung loosely around the crotch and fit snug around his shins. His boots were tabi-style, space for two large toes, much like Mina's hooves only missing the shoe of bone. His white shirt only had one sleeve, slink and flowing like a web from his right arm. He didn't feel the need to wear his armour though he did bring his Blightstaff, using it to hold himself up and keep his hunched down position at a comfortable 7 foot.

Patiently he waited, looking around and humming a little song to himself, some of the beetles he kept in the Amathyst of his staff, started to buzz in response to his tune. ]

[ At the knock on the door, she happily moves over to open it with a welcoming smile. For once, Caduceus does not have to look down to see someone's face - Mina is also seven feet tall. Unlike the firbolg, she's gone 'native'; wearing a pink summer dress rather than her heavy robes and has tiny clay cake slices dangling from her ears. ]

Welcome! How very nice it is being to see you in person, Mr. Clay!

[ He really was a sweet-looking fellow with a flowy, almost monk-like clothing with a hint of druid in it all. His ears are so adorable, too!

Moving aside so that he can come in, she reveals her home - it's made slightly in the style she's used to at home, with dark, curved woods and purple crystal accents, but with a lot of added modern touches. ]

Come in, yes? Making yourself comfortable.

[ Once Mina opened the door, Caduceus' smile only grew larger. It was so nice not having to look down or bend so that he could greet someone, in fact, he almost automatically went to do it.

She looked lovely! Dressing in such a flattering dress. Seeing her cute horns and tail just made him feel even more at home, some of his travel companions had similar features as Mina did. ]

Ah, Miss Mina, you look even lovelier in person.

[ Giving a bow of his head before stepping in and looking around. Her home was nice! Much nicer than his room back at the house. His room was nice enough for the firbolg, mulch and mushrooms growing but for anyone else, it probably wasn't all very homely. ]

You have a beautiful home, it'll be an honour to make you some tea in such a pretty place. May I sit?

[ Making himself at home was easy around Mina, she just had this wonderfully friendly air about her. ]

[ ooc: sorry about the delay! I took a few days off to go see my family and my rp suffered. My apologies :C I'd understand if you want to drop this. ]

Good! We will see how it goes. [ Peter is not a genius with tech like Rocket but he's plenty familiar with it and uses a ton of gadgets. Teaching someone how to use the bracelet will be no problem. Now, it all depends on how perceptive Caduceus really.

He can't help but laugh after the 'we sometimes make trouble for others too' ]

Sounds like your team and mine could be long lost cousins. Can't say I met your friend and trust me I'd remember him. I have an affinity for colorful people, my girlfriend is also green. She doesn't have tusks, though.

[ Jesus, man, that is tall. How does Caduceus even find clothes of his size? Peter's no shortie either but he's 6'2, so that makes him small in comparison.

And he didn't say yes either to drink dead people tea! D:

He makes a face at that story about the elves because it's really sad that the youngest died and also weird that Caduceus talk about it so casually. Oh well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.]

You can't have life without death, it seems. Things need to be balanced. But I've admitted that I've never talked so someone quite like you.-

[ That is a compliment...of sorts. ]

[ He was so nice and polite, it was lovely. Plus his hair was her favorite color, which is honestly what drew her in the first place when she saw his post. Mina is sure they'll be the best of friends! ]

Please, sit! I have kettle, it is warm.

[ She gestures to her table and pillows in the living room, before she heads over to pick up the kettle and her cups. Mina is so very excited to have a guest, beaming at the firbolg as she passes him to get into the kitchen. ]

Your teas, are they for drinking normal or with the milk and sugar?

Lovely, just lovely. I look forward to seeing you on Wednesday.

[ If she liked his hair, he could maybe make some marshmallow oink dye for her too. He used the lichen that grew wild on his shield and parts of his breastplate to colour his hair, he would happily make some for her to use too.

Sitting and getting comfortable amongst the pillows and cushions. Her home was very comfortable, hopefully, he was invited back after today, to spend more time here with her. he could get used to it. ]

My tea doesn't normally require milk, but you can add some for flavour if that's how you like it? it'll work out just the same.

[ Calling to her as she passed him to enter the kitchen. Watching her leave and smiling to himself. She was very pretty, he was very taken in by her voluptuous figure, he'd never met anyone like her before, all the people he knew were either full, ripped muscles or very thin and tall. ]

[ Listen, compared to Caduceus, everyone is a tech-genius, okay? The guy is terrible when it comes to this kind of thing. Besides, the world he comes from you have to attune yourself to certain things if you want to become proficient with them and the Cleric can't really do that right now. ]

I'll look forward to it. You can show me how to tech and I can make us some nice tea.

[ Yea, The Mighty Nein, ass they like to call themselves, often find trouble just happens to and around them, unfortunately for those around at the time, but all in all, they're a good bunch. Caduceus smiles as Peter says he has an affinity for colourful people, it makes him feel much more at ease. Oh, and he had a girlfriend who was Fjord's colour too? That's neat! ]

You know, you might be right about that. I would like to think that my family spreads past the reach of the Blooming Grove. We very well might be long lost cousins, your group and mine. Oh, wow, your girlfriend is a Half-orc too? Or is she more like Nott and a Goblin?

[ Forgive him, those are the only green people he knows from back home! Though there were possibly other races that could be green he supposes now that he's thinking about it.

Thankfully, Caduceus' race is common in Exandria where he's from, though they often keep themselves to themselves, Firbolg's are known for their towering heights that enough places cater to their needs. That and Caduceus family probably make all of their own clothes, hence his very romantic, flowing shirt with just one silk sleeve.

About those dead elves... When he says he buried their youngest, he's just assuming that Peter would know that the youngest was over 200 years old. They tend to live for hundreds of years so even at 200 they had still been classed as young. Heck, if he was to ask Caduceus about his age he might be shocked or surprised. ]
Ah well, that's my job as a Grave Cleric. I keep everything in balance as best I can.

Oh, no! If it does not usually take the milk, then no milk! I want to taste the real thing, no?

[ She gets the kettle, bringing it into the living room with her favorite purple tea cups. They look like they have been broken and then put together again with gold, giving them a really interesting look. Mina loves them, and is happy to show them off for once. ]

There it is!

[ She takes a seat as well, her thick tail coming to rest beside her. Unlike tieflings and the like, it's not really dexterous enough to fold into her lap - especially not with those hips and thighs. Another fun difference between them, being a big girl while he is so thin that she wants to feed him.

...which she will. ]

Now, what is your favorite pastry, Mr. Clay?

[ Her hands move to cast a spell, and suddenly the table has cookies on it - another gesture, and there are cinnamon rolls. At third, and there's a pie. They all look perfectly real, even if they came into existence with a swirl of purple energy. ]

Oh eh, alright then. As you wish.

[ He pulled the tealeaves from a small pouch that was tucked away inside of a deep trouser pocket, getting them ready to pour into her teakettle. Once Mina set the pot down, the Cleric took a moment to look over the pot and the cups. They were very pretty, the gold really made them stand out, he could see why they were so precious to her. ]

Oh wow. I eh... I um..

[ His eyes went large, looking at all the conjured pastries. Jester would have loved this. He didn't know where to start. So, as he looked at her goodies, he carefully started to pout the leaf into the kettle, closing his eyes, saying a private little thank you to the Elf in his head before sitting back and looking at the table once more, noticing her rather large, thick tail and smiling softly. ]

Let that stew a little and it'll be just swell.

[ As for the food... ]

Which one is your favourite? I'll try that one first.

[ She watches curiously as he puts in the tealeaves, and then takes a breath. It smells really good, so she smiles again and nods approvingly. ]

I'm sure it will be wonderful, no?

[ Mina picks up one of the cookies, holding that out for Caduceus. ]

These, I make the most often. They are easy to be carried and easy to eat. I am thinking you start with them?

[ They essentially taste like chocolate chip cookies with an unusual aftertaste of... magic? ]

Aye. True death is yet possible, but it would require a great deal of effort on someone else's part.

[He quirks an eyebrow. He's heard of such things.]

Holy powers are anathema to my kind. Paladins have such abilities. I cannot say I'm fond, but I allow that not all undead--even the thinking kind--look well upon the living.

I can imagine.

[ Caduceus had spells that could make giving the undead permanent death possible, though, he didn't think it wise to mention that just now.

A smile and a curt nod of his head as he listened. ]

That's where I'm a strange one. See, I'm a follower of the Wildmother. I use her Holy power that resigns in nature to cast my spells... But I'm a Grave Cleric, so most of my magic is based around death and dying or at least the balance between that and life.

[ He pauses as he thinks for a moment. ]

I'd be real interested in picking your bones, figuratively not literally that is, about your kind if you wouldn't mind? I think not enough people know or understand the Undead and that causes some unnecessary tensions.

Oh, it will be wonderful.

[ Caduceus was sharing some of his private stashes from home with her, which he was more than happy to do. After all, what's the point in having nice things if you can share them with nice people? ]

Hmm, a nice and easy cookie. Alright, I'm into it.

[ He reached out and took the cookie, taking a polite bite from it. Chewing a few times before nodding his head. Sure, it was rude to talk with a mouthful but he was almost done chewing so it didn't count, right? ]

Mmm these are good! I like the after taste. Tastes like licking a crystal.

[ A funny thing to say and he won't get into why he knows what a crystal tastes like. Finishing his bite, the firbolg sets the rest of the cookie down and reaches over to start pouring some tea. First, he pours some for Mina then he pours his own, mindful to push his one flowing sleeve back so not to dip it in the drink. ]

Now, try this.

[ Caduceus has the reasonable excuse that this sort of tech doesn't exist in this world, peter knows people who live in more modern worlds and don't even know how to make a phone call. But yeah, teaching the guy might be an exercise in patience. ]

It's a deal. [ If the Mighty Nein also have a member who happens to be on the furry side, then the resemblances will start to be uncanny. ]

We could be, life is already so unpredictable that there's no telling for sure. I had siblings all over the galaxy. [ Because Ego had no self restrain. It's a pity most if not all of said siblings are already dead. ] Not quite. She's a Zen-Whoberi. She's only a bit shorter than me but ten times strong and her species have two livers. You don't want to enter a drinking contest against her, trust me.

[ Nothing to forgive, it's a logical question to answer. Peter is a bit amused that Caduceus went for 'goblin' firs, though.

Caduceus has nice taste in clothes too, Peter is usually more partial to leather jackets and clothes that don't get in the way of his running and kicking if he has to enter combat.

Alas no, Peter was thinking much younger than that. Knowing that it was over 200 years old would make him feel better. How old is Caduceus? ]

Then I hope you manage to do that here as well. Hopefully without people freaking out when you ask about corpses.

[ 'Licking a crystal' makes her laugh, but Mina can kind of see where he's coming from. Draenei got a lot of power from their crystals, after all, so she can imagine they taste a little like magic. ]

I am glad you are liking it!

[ She sits back a bit more to watch him pour the tea, curiously looking at it and then nodding to his sleeve. ]

It is being very pretty, this clothing. Very delicate, but I am imagining it is not really so?

[ Taking her filled tea cup, she sniffs it a bit and looks quite curious. It smelled fantastic, so Mina takes a sip. The taste was very flowery and nice, a little stronger than she expected a herbal tea to taste, and it was definitely something home-brewed. Like she could feel the care that had been taken to grow this. ]

Oh, Mr. Clay! This is wonderful!

[ Yea, Caduceus and technology are not good bedfellows. His hands are too big for the delicate buttons and dials etcetera. No, Caduceus is better suited to magic and spells.

As for the point about having a small furry pal in the group, well, Nott wasn't exactly furry but she was a loudmouth who liked to tinker with alchemy and blow shit up if that counts for anything? ]

Zen-Whoberi. That sounds nice, I like that, Zen-Whoberi. Oh, I eh, I think some of my friends would still challenge her to a drinking contest anyway, they're a little reckless with their wellbeing at times. Good job we have two Cleric's in the group.

[ The firbolg didn't really see himself as fashionable in the slightest! but he would be flattered if he knew someone liked what he was wearing, most of the time it was something comfortable and flowy, though, unlike Peter, if a fight broke out, Caduceus would normally stand aside and fight from cover, using spells and projectiles.

Ah-ha! Well, in human years he was around 20? Early 20's possibly but in firbolg, he was pushing 90 something! Still pretty young considering his race could live for hundreds of years too. ]

Yea, I'd really like to make a little Graveyard somewhere but I don't think its exactly legal here?

Oh, I like it very much so. Thank you for sharing them. I eh, I hope they don't drain you too much of that Chroma stuff? I know that if I do a lot of spells it can sometimes leave me pretty low.

[ Watching as she took her cup and smelt it, pulling a funny expression at the comment about his clothes. He's never been complimented on them before so it's a nice thing to hear. ]

Ah, yea, thanks, I think they're pretty too. I used to make most of them myself, me and my sister. It's not all that practical but it's easy to move in when fighting I guess.

[ Caucues waited with a held breath, hoping that Mina liked what she was tasting. Leaning in a little excitedly, waiting for her verdict. The moment she said she was enjoying it, the way she called it wonderful made him blush a little pink in the pale fur of his cheeks. ]

You really think so? Ah, I'm so glad, that means a lot. This is one of my favourite blends. I tend not to share it all that often so I'm touched you like it. Can you taste the Dahlia in it? It's pretty rare.

No, it is not too much. They do not have their mana anymore, so it is not much. Spells, though... it is being worrying at times. I have been being careful.

[ Picking up a cookie she takes a small bite, smiling when she hears that it's family-made, his nice outfit. ]

Practical, it is not always the thing. Sometimes, you have to be stylish, no?

[ She points to her staff in the corner, which is definitely not practical.

Sipping the tea again, Mina looks at Caduceus happily.]

Oh, it is very special? I am very honored that you are being sharing with me. [ She giggles a little. ] I am not knowing what a dahlia is, though!

Yea, I often get in trouble with my friends if I use too much of my magic on random stuff.

[ Watching as Mina picked up a cookie, Caduces looked over the table for something else to try. She'd made all this wonderful food, it would be rude not to taste more of it! ]

Stylish? I wouldn't know what was or what wasn't stylish.

[ Chuckling at his own comment as his attention is turned towards her staff. It really was quite pretty! His own staff looked nice, it had a huge gemstone in it after all but nothing like Mina's! ]

Oh, that's a nice staff. Really stylish.

[ Taking another sip of his tea, looking over the top of his cup at her as she sipped hers. Very pleased that she seemed to be enjoying it. ]

It is. It was a noble Elven family that made this. They bloomed a very rare Black Dahlia flower. Very pretty. That's what you're drinking, the petals of the flower.

[ Ah, that's an added usability problem, maybe they can find a way to fix it. They could change the bracelet to display an holographic keyboard with bigger buttons. ]

It has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? Sounds more melodic than Terran. Is what the people around the galaxy call us, humans. She doesn't accept challenges easily but she is competitive, I'm sure they all would have fun. But you're right, it would be the sort of fun that might require medical assistance.

[ Peter will have to mention it one day if they meet in person. He's seen people wearing all sorts of colorful or weird clothes while traveling around the Galaxy but Caduceus' have a particular style to it that he enjoys.

Oh that's not so old for his species! Peter's almost twice his age. Don't tell him Caduceus or he will feel old. At the mention fo the graveyard, Peter makes 'Uh yeah no' face and chuckles a little. ]

No, I don't think so.

[ Making it easier for Caduceus to use the bracelets would be amazing, honestly. He's missed calls and even sent gobbly-goop out in response to people before. So yea, every little helps. ]

It does. Very melodic. Oh, so a human isn't a human where you're from? It's what, a Terran? Wow, I'm learning so much, I hope I can remember all of this.

[ He chuckled at that, knowing that most of what Peter said, he was going to remember but some of it? Some of it would slip through the cracks in his memory.

The Mighty Nein would often get themselves into trouble like that, drinking competitions with aliens who were made to drink was right up their street! He'd have to tell the ones he lived with about Peter and his girlfriend! ]

That's a shame... I really would have loved to have a Graveyard here. Even if the Moonblessed just turn in to crystals for a while. It would have been nice looking after them.
