You know, something I've been wondering but... Just how many of us here are under the age of eighteen?

[Asakura thinks that maybe she should make some friends her own age, or age range.]

That does make him look somewhat less self conscious and he offers his own hesitant smile. "It's different when it's people I'm close to. It feels more natural, I guess." It also probably helps that most of those people already have a really deep connection to him through Sora. "I want to get better at hugging at other people though so I'm not always relying on my friends to bail me out."

She's helping!

"Well, yes I can imagine it does," she adds. "And you're starting off right now, and relying on friends isn't a bad thing, you know?"

In her own way.

"I know. But they've already done so much for me, even before I got here. I want to start paying some of that back." Though it would probably be impossible to ever return the favor of a second chance that people like Sora and the others had given him. "You can't do much here without extra Chroma."

[force_a_change]

"Ah, I see." She doesn't get it, because she's never been in such a situation but she'll be... Nice about it?

"There is also demichroma, that could be used to help out too right?"

[terribletwos]

"You need a job for that, right?"

[force_a_change]

"I think so." Not that Asakura knows for sure, she's currently jobless.

[terribletwos]

Roxas lets out a soft sigh. "I keep meaning to look for one. But stuff keeps getting in the way. And I'd probably have to use the network to do it since they don't post notices on buildings like they did back in my world." Which really was a lot more convenient and easy to notice in his daily travels.

[force_a_change]

Okay that explanation makes her giggle. "That's a very old school method of finding work." She says, mid chuckle.

"Maybe ask at places you frequent then? Sometimes stores are hiring but don't have signs and such."

[terribletwos]

"It is?" Roxas looks genuinely surprised at that. "But Twilight Town has always done it that way. I think." Can he really be sure since he's only spent a handful of days in the real one and even less time in the digital one?

"That's not a bad idea. Maybe the ice cream shops could use some extra help." Or the jewelry store.

[force_a_change]

"At least back in my world it kind of is," She replies, still smiling and enjoy this. "Most things like that have to be looked up online, like on the devices here."

And she nods at his idea, lots of places tend to need help at various times of the year so who knows?

[terribletwos]

He gives her a confident smile, reassured on his course. "I'll give that a try then. Maybe they'll appreciate meeting me in person first." Since it would only be through text on the network.

[force_a_change]

"It's certainly won't hurt," she adds. "Meeting in person that is."

[terribletwos]

"Yeah, like we're doing right now." He pauses for a moment. "We should do something else besides just moonlacing. That's kind of too weird on its own. Why don't we go find some ice cream?"

Because if he's learned anything in the time he's been alive, ice cream is the solution to any social activity.

[force_a_change]

She just goes 'Mmmhmm' and then brings up getting ice cream, which is something she hasn't actually done and well. May as well with a new friend?

"Sure, I'm guessing you know of a good place around here to suggest it," she answers, her smile becoming a grin.

[terribletwos]

"Yeah! I've been to all the places by now. There should be a parlor nearby. Come on." He takes hold of her hand again to help show her the way, the thought of sharing ice cream lifting his mood even further and bringing out his playful side.

Her hand is taken! And she can't help but giggle as she is lead towards ice cream, Roxas' good mood is catching it seems.
