[ Metera knows she's got it going on, of course; even if she had a blind spot about that kind of thing like her workaholic little sister does the attention and envy of others would've clued her in by now.

She's always been exceptional beyond just the looks department; confidence comes naturally to a genius who mastered abilities her peers could never hope to wrap their heads around.

And it seems like she's in good company judging from his picture, enough that she wouldn't mind seeing the whole package in person at all. ]

[ And a moment later she does send him a picture, one that reveals more than his because she really is that self-assured: an overhead shot of her leaning back on her couch that has her body in view from her furry ears down to her thighs. She's been lazing around the apartment so her outfit's more casual, but her slouchy shirt is still off her shoulders and her shorts are very short, leaving her shapely legs on display. ]

[ Oh he believes in himself, he's just modest... He looks over the picture for a moment. She's very pretty, and he definitely likes her legs. He doesn't get a lot of women approaching him for some reason here, so he can't help but appreciate the photo.

If you're really sure it's safe for this world for two good-looking people like us to get that close, I mean. Like, say...if we went out for a night on the town together.

[ He's handsome enough for Metera's standards and he must've liked what he saw too if he said something like that, so that's really all it takes for her to make the suggestion. Why wait around for a guy to make the first move if she likes what she sees?

If he turns out to be a loser despite first impressions suggesting otherwise there's no real harm done outside of a disappointing evening, after all. ]
