[The video starts up and is on for almost an entire minute with Gokudera staring at it. He's got leopard spots on his face, fluffy silver-gray cat ears poking out from his hair, and then he drops the device.]

Fuck-!

[It lands on the floor, camera pointed up. He's right in front of the door to his apartment, and it seems he can't pick his phone up, because instead of having hands, for this Triple Moon, he has paws. No thumbs. He can't pick the phone up, and instead bats at it. He's not realized that it's recording.]

Whatever...

[So now he's going to try and open his front door. There's a lot of cursing under his breath, and he's smacking at the handle, unable to knock without knuckles to do so.]

Stupidfucking... finger... toes.... just gotta... Ugh! Come on....

[Claws drag over it, and then he's leaning forward, trying to angle his paw and then getting a claw stuck in the keyhole. Gokudera makes a pathetic wailing noise and has to carefully twist it out. He huffs at the door, takes a few steps back, and cuts off the feed with one of feet, which is also a paw. Help him? Cheer him on? Laugh at him?]

[Linneus is really more of a dog person, but heavens - the leopard spots and the cat ears are rather cute.]

[He growls and keeps on trying to open the door.]

[tipping his head a little inquisitively as he watches the boy wage his war on the door. Why so many of the accommodations for the Moonblessed have doorknobs instead of handles...]

[Gokudera growls and he's still struggling.]

I'm... not entirely sure which of your curses I was meant to take as a cry for help?

[He stands there and starts bumping his forehead against it. Woe is him.]

Looks rough, kid, need some help?

Yeah, do you know how to work paws to make them act more like... fingers?

[Looking at his right paw, curling the digits and bringing the claws out. The dew claw doesn't seem to be doing much with the rest.]

[Wolf ears the same light blond as his hair swivel a little as he seems to think about it.]

You tried using both at the same time, maybe curl them around the knob and twist with your wrist real hard.

[He demonstrates what he means even.]

Okay...

[Gokudera does as instructed. One paw goes on top of the knob, and the other goes under. He can feel the cool metal on each toe, and then he tries to twist, but just ends up sliding fur over the smooth surface.]

If they weren't so big...

[Like hell he's giving up! Gokudera tries to use just one, pressing the main pad of his paw to the door and twisting his entire arm with the motion. It clicks a little, then he realizes that he locked the door behind himself when he left the house. He gasps and puts a paw to his mouth, then rummages around in his pockets.]

Shit!

Goodness, you gave me a fright. For a moment I thought the spots were a very bad case of some kind of skin disease.

[But he caught onto ears and then paws and just came to the conclusion that it's just moonblessing.]

I am very glad to see it isn't.

You know...

[Still trying to turn the knob, or to pick the lock. Nothing is easy.]

That's what I thought, too. But then I saw the ears and tail...

[He really needs to stop sticking his claw in that hole, it's starting to hurt and he's actually going to get stuck.]

Do you know how to pick a lock?

Oh, not-- not like that...

[Gokudera that probably isn't helping...]

I could come and look for you? It might be a long search if you don't want to tell me exactly but perhaps at least the area...?

[Kaji seems unruffled, he does not laugh, well he holds back the laugh because he feels bad for the guy. But, this is also kind of funny, this place is something else.

He reaches up, scratching one wolf ear as he thinks.]

Locked out?

[Maybe he can call a locksmith, this place probably has one, they could come let him. Kaji would offer but being Sanguis and seeing feline features, he knows that's Cordis, he will keep his distance, he's not looking to become THAT guy, this kid can't be more than sixteen.]

[It's dramatic and he feels like it's helping. It's not making a loud enough noise and his head doesn't feel great, but it's whatever.]

No... don't worry. He'll figure it out eventually and let me in.

[Note to self: Get handles instead of knobs, and maybe a knocker or doorbell.]

Yeah... [Locking the door on the way out of the house is a great habit to get into when he has hands. It's easy enough to nudge the bolt on the inside. Holding a key, inserting it, then turning it and the knob will not be an easy task.

He's digging around in his pocket and pulls out the chain for his wallet and little else. With a flick of his wrist, the chain comes off his claw, then back in again he goes.]

Just habit... wasn't thinking about this-

Yeah, the signs of a moonblessing.

[Though honestly, he's not sure which is worse. He'd guess it's sickness, but then again being Iris is sometimes close to being sick.]

Ah! No, I can't. However! All the apartments are pretty advanced. There should be something like a device scanner next to the door.

...Unless you live in a house without these advancements.

Out of all the moonblessings, I think being Cordis right now is pretty lucky. [Not that he's having a good time right now, or anything like that. Gokudera is not an optimistic person by nature.]

But I'm not being distracted by any smells, and I... I don't know what all Iris goes through, but I'm not going through that. Just... woke up with these stupid fucking... paws.

[He tries to kick at the door, but his feet are paws, too. They barely even make a noise.]

It's a two-bedroom starter.

[Gokudera slaps both would-be palms to the door. Again, hardly any noise. Then, his claws come out and he drags them down slowly. Oh, that feels good but the sound is awful.]

Iris is not bad if you are dating someone. It is, however, extremely difficult to navigate alone.

[Speaking from experience. He makes a face at the noise the paws make.]

Then there should be a panel next to the door. Next to it. And it uses some chroma to open.

I don't like this "eventually". But if you are sure?

Nothing in this world is easy alone. But at least during this Triple Moon, I'm not hit with... urges? I'm just hungry.

[Gokudera looks over at his device, then the lack of panel beside the door. He rolls his eyes and stomps over quietly before batting at his device, having a hard time picking it up.]

There's- nah there's nothing! Look. Just-

[Finally he's got it, then sandwiches the device between both paws, holding it carefully while turning to show a very basic door and very basic wall. He and Yamamoto need to earn more Chroma so they can upgrade.]
