[Because the Sanguis moon is out, LB's goat face markings of the black circles around her eyes and on her lips are present along with the ears - she's relieved that the horns didn't make an appearance this time, at least! As she didn't post on the network often, she glances curiously into the screen to make certain the recording function was on, sighing before addressing the network.]

Oh, uh, hi! Eeheehee! I don't go on the network very often, so, uh, I'm "LB" for those that don't know me.

[Gosh, she probably looks like a dork right now. While she was a lot more extroverted in person, it felt weird being on video when she was much more used to texting.]

Anyway, um, my birthday is coming up soon! Or the closest equivalent to it here, I suppose? [At least the calendar system here was conveniently close to the one on Earth!] And this is probably really one of the stupidest questions ever, but... what do you even do for birthdays when you're an adult? Ahaha?

I mean, I had some when I was younger and I know a lot of adults just ignore their birthday, but... [She frowns a little before realizing it and covering it up with a bit of a forced smile.] the last time I got to celebrate a birthday was a decade ago. You know, when I was twelve years old. And maybe it's a little selfish, but I really kind of want to do something now that I actually can, you know?

[That was probably more revealing about herself than she really wanted to let on. But at least maybe people won't think she's completely stupid? In any case, she shrugs in a sort of self-conscious fashion before continuing.]

So, uh, if anyone has any ideas, let me know! But thanks for listening, really! And if anyone wants to do something, I don't mind hanging out with strangers even, if you have nothing else to do on the 13th! So I'll see you then, maybe!

[Her smile broadens at the camera, giving a little wave before shutting off the feed.]

I'm kidding! I mean, unless that's really what you want. Typically, adult birthdays end up being about going out with friends for drinks, or dinner, or a movie, or laser tag, or some mix of those things, or... whatever you wanna do! As long as you're happy with it, that's what counts!

Right, right. Not everyone wants to clown around!

Never heard of Laser Tag? It's not dangerous at all! It's like this game where they split you into teams and you get special equipment. You shoot your opponents with lasers to win points, but it's not like a real laser so it doesn't actually hurt at all. It's pretty fun stuff!

Me personally, I like to grill up a steak and get myself a full pack of my favorite beer. Then I'll either enjoy some time off by myself or with the family. Cake's optional.

You got some food you like? Gettin' someone else to make it for you's always an option too, naturally.

maybe you're right, it'd be a lot easier to plan, in either case.

[Before she can even respond to the bit about piercings, the last message promptly stops the indication that she was typing. Even though she was pretty casual about it herself, LB was still thrown for a loop, okay!]

uh... maybe? i probably could use the chroma and i guess my birthday does kind of fall on your iris moon, doesn't it? i don't know how free my day is going to be, though.

I don't think so, actually. I know of tag, but not the kind of variety that involves lasers, eheheh! I just wasn't certain if the laser was a harmful one or not.

[She looks maybe a little embarrassed over her confusion over it, but it wasn't like it was common knowledge in her hometown!]

But ah, it sounds like it could be fun sometime. I'm open to trying it out!

Blegh, beer! [Even if she follows suit in using voice only, she still wrinkles her face at the communicator.] Ahaha... but I suppose celebrations like this might feel a little lonely if you don't have your family around here?

[She wasn't actually certain if he meant a family back at home or perhaps he had one here? But she just assumed it was the former.]

Ah... my favorite is octopus, actually! [Yes, even before coming here, and considering all the octopus and sea themed events around here, LB has been very lucky in that regard.] And I've actually had a pretty good helping of that around here. But I wonder if everyone else might be sick of it by now?

But I guess cake is pretty traditional no matter where you go, isn't it? I don't normally like sweets, but it won't hurt if I indulge on my birthday, woudld it?

I know people go out to restaurants for their birthdays. I know a lot of adults do it too.

Well now you know! I've done it a few times myself, it can be really fun! It doesn't have to be for your birthday, but you should definitely try it sometime!

But also look into local lasertag first, because now that I think about it, I wouldn't be surprised if this place had some kinda weird twist to it!

Hmm... it seems to be a pretty common answer. But, heehee, I certainly wouldn't mind! So, going off other answers, maybe somewhere that serves both food and alcohol?

[She herself couldn't get drunk off of alcohol, but it'd be fun for others, wouldn't it?]

Oh... I didn't even think of that! [LB was already overwhelmed with how generous people on this planet could be as it was!] Um... I guess all I really want are more good memories, I suppose...

[But ah, she couldn't leave this helpful stranger off on a sad note.] Besides, if other people want to get me something, it's more fun when it's a surprise, heehee!

Oh... you're right! [She blinks a couple of times before visibly cringing a little as she tries to imagine how Prismatica might handle something like that. While she overall was very favorable of the planet, they sure did have strange ways of doing things sometimes!] But I definitely want to try it sometime, haha!

Just maybe not chance whatever the version of laser tag here might be on my birthday!

[With how long he's been here, Gumshoe was cautious about how horny this place could make things, so he wouldn't be surprised if they had laser tag where the lasers had sensual effects or destroyed clothing or something else ridiculous. He laughs.]

I do hope you do get a chance to try some good old-fashioned normal laser tag sometime, pal! Yeah, maybe look into that for sometime in the future.
