—Ah! I believe it is working. Hello!

Although I have been here for... some small time now, I have yet to introduce myself to the users of Prismagram at large. So I am doing so now. I am Titus Alexius! No doubt we shall be well met.

[ neither the facial features nor the voice is particularly definitive as gender presentations go, but perhaps the name serves as enough of a hint that he is, in fact, a dude. at the moment, he's lounging on something or other while the camera hovers over him. ]

To be honest, I also just felt like talking to someone. And what is better than talking to someone if not talking to a great many someones at once?

You know, it is a little hard to tell since the people here are typically very kind to me anyway, but I have noticed that I become quite a bit more popular during Cordis moon cycles. And perhaps it is my imagination, but I believe even that effect may be heightened currently. I wonder whether it's because of how silky and majestic my tails are!... or perhaps they are simply mirroring my energy, since I too have been feeling immensely fond of... [ he frowns thoughtfully ] ...well, everyone.

Speaking of my tails, I had to completely destroy some of my clothing to accommodate them! It really is lucky money is so easy to get here. But look! [ he sits up, and the camera moves around behind him as though on an expertly controlled drone. the new angle shows off his tails, which really are something, even if the number of other people affected by all this means they're not exactly one of a kind. (or nine of a kind.) they're a burnished golden color at the base that fades into snowy white, then blood red... and their level of fluffiness is unreal. this change in the view also shows off his outfit, which includes something drapey and white, elbow-length lace gloves that madonna probably wore at some point during the virgin tour, and orange glitter jelly sandals. it also reveals the silver rapier that he's waving around somewhat languidly; it's these movements that seem to be controlling the device, sort of like a magical selfie stick.

soon he flops back down and the camera takes it place hovering over his face. ]

Anyway, I suppose that's... ah.

[ something occurs to him abruptly, which evidently breaks his concentration and causes the device to fall out of the air onto his face.

after a moment, the jumbled image rights itself; he's now holding the device in one hand (and covering his unfortunate nose with the other). ]

Pictures! I need someone who can make pictures. Please respond if you are capable of this.

Oh, and also, as you can see, my magic is somewhat less reliable than usual at the moment. I am certain it's because I have not been moonlacing enough, so please respond if you are capable of that, too.

[Listen, someone's gotta ask the question. Did you break your nose, Titus, come on, bud. But aside from that:]

I don't really know any Cordis really well, so I don't know personally, but given the side effects all the other moonblessings have, it wouldn't be surprising if one of them made you more...compelling, to people. It would make sense, especially with moonlacing being so necessary...are you not normally a kitsune?

Well, probably not. Then again, maybe so.
I suppose it depends on what a kitsune is.

Ah--a nine-tailed fox. They're trickster spirits, at least where I'm from. Not that I'm saying you're like that. But the resemblance is...

[You know. Pretty strong. Especially considering the way those fox prismals were during the festival. Maybe there's something to the legends after all. Maybe somehow, prismals found their way to Earth hundreds of years ago. Or maybe they came from Earth, originally?? Listen, it's a fascinating puzzle.]

Anyway, is your face okay? You dropped your phone pretty hard. I could hear it.

Oh, these! [ he swishes his tails a bit ]

I am not normally like this, no. It seems to be because I was kidnapped and drugged by cultists recently, but I am sure it will wear off like any other moonblessing.

M-my face... [ reddens slightly, as it's a little embarrassing to have attention drawn back to his clumsiness. ]

[ he twirls his fingers, tilts his head, and effects a winsome smile. ]
...Although my nose does ache just a bit.

[Well, that does explain it. Definitely related to all that cult stuff. Todoroki hopes it's all temporary, at least, and there's no lingering problems, otherwise he has to worry about his friends all over again.

In the meantime, though, it's time to be mildly concerned about a stranger. A very cute stranger. Listen, he might be mostly oblivious to these things and still figuring himself out, but cute is cute.]

You should probably put some ice on it, just in case.

[ he flushes more obviously now and re-covers his nose self-consciously ]

L-listen, it truly is fine! The device fell from only a very small distance.

I did! Yes! Are you interested in magic?... Or are you, perhaps, a magician yourself?

[Said completely oblivious to why exactly that is. Honestly, he's just trying to help. But sure, he'll take that subject change! It's definitely a more interesting answer.]

Magic isn't real outside of stories where I'm from, but I guess in a way quirks could look like magic. Almost everyone where I'm from has some sort of power or ability. Were you born with it, or did you learn it?

The connection to the rukh necessary to perform magic is innate, but the techniques of magic must be practiced and learned...

What kinds of powers and abilities do you mean?

Everyone's Quirk is different. Or, most people, I guess. Sometimes kids inherit one or both of their parents'. Although I guess sometimes it skips a generation...but almost everyone has one, even if it isn't strong. Mine is called Half-Cold Half-Hot.

[He doesn't really want to use much Chroma, but an example is pretty useful, so he holds his right hand up in front of the camera, letting a glove of ice form over his fingertips, before setting the camera carefully on the table--he appears to be standing in a kitchen--and clasping that hand in his left, melting the ice into steam, not a single drop of water hitting the floor.]

I could do more, but it seems like my quirk is tied to Chroma now, and I don't really have enough for anything else, if it's not an emergency.

What's the rukh? Is that the source of magic in your world?

[ titus watches intently, tails waving (they're just barely visible behind him)! ]

I see, I see! But doesn't it hurt your hand to do that? It looks as though it would hurt. [ of course, titus could easily create ice and then instantly sublimate it, but damn, he wouldn't do it on himself. ]

The rukh are the source of everything in my world. They create life and all natural phenomena, and they are present in everything, from the tiniest mote of dust to the vast ocean. Magic is the art of communicating with and controlling the rukh through a system of ceremonial orders. ...And I too have found that my facility with it is tied to chroma, but... I have not found myself particularly limited even so. Are you running very low on it?

No, it doesn't. I mean, I feel the cold, a little, and heat when I use my fire, but it doesn't hurt or burn or anything.

[Although he does have to regulate his internal temperature...but that's not something he's going to just divulge. Instead, he's going to pick his communicator back up, looking a little thoughtful as Titus continues.]

So, like atoms...

[Man, that's an interesting way to look at magic. If a spell is really just a command to make atoms shift and arrange themselves into new configurations...he feels like this is beyond him, but it does sound interesting.]

I'd like to learn more about your magic, if you don't mind. I'm not so low on Chroma I'm going to fall over or anything, but I'm not just...you know.

[He's not sleeping with anyone, is what he's saying. Even though he did spend that one night with Midoriya. But that was literally just sleeping! So. Handholding and the occasional cuddle it is. At least it's kept him going.]

Oh, yes! Let us help each other. It's my personal conviction that everyone should always have enough chroma to use whatever abilities they like with complete impunity. And I shall be happy to tell you whatever you wish to know about magic... and you, perhaps, will tell me why magic is considered a storybook invention in your world even though these "quirks" do not seem especially unmagical.

[ he goes back to levitating the device with his wand so that he can cross his legs extravagantly, rest an elbow on his knee, and rest his chin in his hand. ]

[ Ah, this was a face that he recognised, even if they'd only had the pleasure of meeting once before. In reality it hadn't been much fun for Titus, he was sure, but he'd gotten some amount of amusement from it.

The triple moons had brought the both of them the blessing of being foxy lads, Diego feeling far more anxious to pick at someone to keep himself occupied. There was a thoughtful little hum from the blond as he appeared on the screen, brow raised with a rather flat expression on his face. ]

What makes you so certain that the "great many someones" are willing to talk back? Or even really all that interested, for that matter?

You're right. They do kind of seem like magic, if you don't know what they are, and there are theories about that--

Well, I really was not certain at all... I merely hoped they would be.

...Oh, you know. Back in my own world, when the second year began at the academy, there was apparently one room that was nicer than all the others. My followers thought I deserved to have it, so they threw everything in the hall and dragged out the students who had been assigned to live there.
Was it, perhaps, something a bit like that?

That last comment earns Titus a curious glance, as Shoto wonders what he might have to ask that's so urgent it can't wait.]

[ he smiles warmly, as though this casual statement is in some way a deeply heartfelt personal affirmation. ]

[ ah, it does bring back memories...
what are connie and pinocchio up to now, he wonders. they were pretty unpleasant in a couple different ways, but they sure knew how to make a guy feel appreciated. ]
