I didn't necessarily meet new people but culture shock aside this is pretty tame compared to what happens at home.

I mean, I met many of my classmates at school normally, but sometimes you don't really know them until you see them outside of class.

Like, one of them was an honest-to-goodness ninja! I was with her when she fought a dragon to a standstill.

I had to heal it afterwards so it and its kids wouldn't rampage, but still.
