Hello everyone! o(^▽^)o The network is very busy today. But I want to put my application out before Sanguis' time rolls into Cordis, so Sanguis folks can still use it.

I have a basic Moon Phase Log app to document your changes. It's kind of a combination of a journal and a personal tracker - for example, applications for menstrual cycle tracking, or seeing how your mood is over time. You can make notes of your changes for the current cycle, if anything is new or different than previous, how you feel, anything that happened leading up to it, etc. You can also attach photos to each entry.

I did this for myself originally, because sometimes I go into heat and sometimes I don't, and I wanted to see if anything before Iris could be connected to heat being triggered. I've also seen and heard of folks becoming dragons and foxes after interacting with other peoples here, outside the city. These interactions could be linked to the abnormal, unique changes.

Two things:
1. THIS APP DOES NOT COLLECT YOUR DATA. There is no way to send it via the app, either. It's basically a digital moon phase journal for you, stored locally on your device. So you don't have to worry about nosy people going in and getting it, unless they physically pick up your device. The app has a password option on it, if you want. Privacy guaranteed, from someone who was a blackhat hacker.
2. It's pretty simple right now because I'm still learning how to code using this planet's tech and systems. It gets the job done just fine, and yes, I have added simple themes to make it pretty. You can change the colors.

If you're interested in using the Moon Phase Log app, click the following link and run the installer. It'll run you through customization options.

I'm very personally interested in how people change and how these things interact, but I'm a mechanical engineer and computer person, so it's not really my field.

Hopefully this will help people individually! Feel free to message me directly with anything, I'm always around. I also accept voluntary data, though again, this isn't my exact field.

Good luck to the new wave of Moonblessed as well! ヽ(〃・ω・)ノ

All this work and you will not reap the results yourself? How very generous of you.

I shall download it for my own personal use, of course.

And I do apologize for having left your last message to me on Read for so long. I do hope you will forgive my negligence.

As a nosy person I'm very offended.

Useful. Thank you.

A fine idea. Few things are as annoying as sulking.

And it was merely an amateurs mistake, I assure you.

What data to you posit will be the most useful to track?

That's very useful. Thank you for putting the time into it.

[And about a minute later--]

Wait, back up. You go into HEAT? Like animals do?
goldrighthand: (he'll get you some)

[personal profile] goldrighthand 2019-09-03 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
Considering I've yet to experience any when I thought I might, I would hope so. At least others have.

I only just arrived. Is there no data on that subject, then?

[Some people in his building might be hearing a head meeting a wall several times. Of course that's what Iris people do. He couldn't just get away with a cute set of ears and maybe a tail and call it a day.]

How certain are we that this isn't some version of hell?

Do you think there's a pattern in the changes in the moonblessed?

This is now bullying. I'm spiraling into misery. However will I recover? Now I won't be given the opportunity to offer my assistance in improving your shoddy work.

Sorry typo. Shady.

How useful! And disappointing all at once. You're not tracking any of the gathered information? It might prove useful, were it compiled and analyzed regularly.

How wonderfully useful, otacon!
I'm sure this will help many people keep track of their changes.
You have my thanks.

Do you think we'll ever find out? Why the moons choose us? Why some of us have changes and others don't?
goldrighthand: (they're whispering his name)

okay from what i read everybody arrives on iris BUT if i'm wrong pls assume he said cordis thank /o\

[personal profile] goldrighthand 2019-09-03 08:19 pm (UTC)(link)
They found me on Iris, I believe. As for these changes, surely someone must have started their research. The local scientists, for example. Though something like this would surely help them.
