Hello everyone! o(^▽^)o The network is very busy today. But I want to put my application out before Sanguis' time rolls into Cordis, so Sanguis folks can still use it.

I have a basic Moon Phase Log app to document your changes. It's kind of a combination of a journal and a personal tracker - for example, applications for menstrual cycle tracking, or seeing how your mood is over time. You can make notes of your changes for the current cycle, if anything is new or different than previous, how you feel, anything that happened leading up to it, etc. You can also attach photos to each entry.

I did this for myself originally, because sometimes I go into heat and sometimes I don't, and I wanted to see if anything before Iris could be connected to heat being triggered. I've also seen and heard of folks becoming dragons and foxes after interacting with other peoples here, outside the city. These interactions could be linked to the abnormal, unique changes.

Two things:
1. THIS APP DOES NOT COLLECT YOUR DATA. There is no way to send it via the app, either. It's basically a digital moon phase journal for you, stored locally on your device. So you don't have to worry about nosy people going in and getting it, unless they physically pick up your device. The app has a password option on it, if you want. Privacy guaranteed, from someone who was a blackhat hacker.
2. It's pretty simple right now because I'm still learning how to code using this planet's tech and systems. It gets the job done just fine, and yes, I have added simple themes to make it pretty. You can change the colors.

I'm very personally interested in how people change and how these things interact, but I'm a mechanical engineer and computer person, so it's not really my field.

What data to you posit will be the most useful to track?

Physical changes, as well as how they change daily each day of the moon - especially between half and full. Also any behavior out of the norm you're experiencing. Example: being overly hungry for food, affection, etc than you normally would be. Any patterns in the fur, scale colors, and so on. It's your own little log, so it's up to you how much detail you care to put in, but I always make little notes for my own. I don't change much physically, though - only once have I had ears that stood up rather than lop.

Are you brand new, or have you been here a while and not... had anything happen? Because this isn't the first time I've heard of people not actually being affected. I wish we knew more of why some folks are, and others aren't, or take longer.

How useful! And disappointing all at once. You're not tracking any of the gathered information? It might prove useful, were it compiled and analyzed regularly.

Personally, yes, based on anecdotes and my own experiences.

From a data based standpoint, I can't say, because the sample size isn't big enough or unbiased.

It would be, but it becomes a complicates mess of issues.

1. People already don't entirely trust our hosts here. What if they take the information?
2. It's none of my business, or anyone else's.
3. Voluntary offering is important for privacy reasons.

I could go on, but in summary: this isn't a science venture. I made a thing for myself, for fun, that I'm putting out there in case other folks may like it.

The Lunar Scientia does let Moonblessed into their ranks, but they don't like us getting too involved in their work. If you're into that stuff, you can tinker from the inside, too.

There isn't - I only have heard of some folks who don't have any changes for their first moon, or more. Like they're immune, or delayed in some way?

Do you know what moon they found you on? Because Sanguis is first, Cordis next, then Iris. After the first month, all three moons came out, so now there's all three at the same time. It kind of sucks as an Iris, because you're changed for eight days in a row, instead of only five.

Do you think we'll ever find out? Why the moons choose us? Why some of us have changes and others don't?

They found me on Iris, I believe. As for these changes, surely someone must have started their research. The local scientists, for example. Though something like this would surely help them.
