Dave had the feeling it was more about the game than about him, but in part him which was every reason Karkat had his loyalty. A loyalty not easily shaken and one that when someone earned, they earned it. It had little to do with the idea that Dave wasn't so sure about his feelings, nothing new for a Strider, and everything to do with just how magnetic Karkat could be. "Then I'll practice for safety reasons n' otherwise." Another shrug, "Don't gotta be done. Roger that."

There was a tiny huffed noise of amusement, not in a disbelief, but because Dave believed him. After hearing that he kicked the shit out of someone already that shouldn't have been able to? He believed it. Just wait until one or the other realized they were from the same timeline, but again plagued by time. "Y'know, I bet you could. You can be a bossass bitch when you wanna."

Oh, he knew that'd get Karkat's attention. "So I found out they got theatres here right? Showin' some fucked up things and some not fucked up things. Before we riot and burn them all down, right, we should probably go check out a few movies. We can go together so people don't bother us." Totally not a date.
