That's almost as long as I've been here, actually.

[ Also has she really been here for almost six months? In some ways it doesn't feel like it was that long at all.]

I was part of the first group of moonblessed to arrive here, so if you weren't part of that group you probably arrived here right after us.

Fought dog-people.

Ah, yes. I remember them too. That sure was something to deal with.

Did they give you any trouble?

No. Their attacks were predictable. Easy to dodge. Almost always tried to bite.

Not very smart.

... Okay, that's fair enough. Though a friend and I had a bit of a harder time dodging them than it seems you did. You must be pretty fast.

Practice. Also, I am small.

Well, I can see why being smaller would make it easier to dodge them.

Also, practice dodging against creatures that try to bite you probably also helped. Most of the time when I was fighting against them, I ended up having to fight more than one of them at once, which made dodging harder.

Sometimes fought more than one. Tried to avoid it. Hallownest's threats are very dangerous. Especially when corrupted.

[She's not sure what exactly would be corrupting things back there, but she's pretty sure she doesn't actually need that answer. At least, not yet. ]

She will handle it. Hornet is strong and wise.

And with Her light gone, she can handle everything now.

Her light scours minds. Burns free will away. All would become extensions of Her if The Radiance had Her way.

... How? That's... that's not how light is works.

[ Then again, if Riku can prove that darkness doesn't have to be destructive and corrosive, who's to say that some variant of the light can't be as destructive as they know darkness can be?]

A bright enough light would burn everything away. The Radiance was that bright. Nothing but light. Blinding light.

[ Even with her own thought process about how that could be possible, the actual notion of something of the light actually being able to do that was still a bit too much for her to really... well, be able to focus on with it, if she were being honest with herself.

Hopefully it wasn't something she'd ever need to deal with once she left Prismatica.]

It is alright. She is gone now. I have seen no other light so terrible.

It is very good. I do not know what effect Her power would have on humans.

But I doubt it would be pleasant.

From what you've already mentioned, I'd doubt it'd be good either.

Do not worry. I do not think She will appear here.

And even if She does, my sibling and I will be here.

Alright. But... you two do realize that you'll also have help if she arrives and starts causing trouble, right?

That might not be wise. My sibling is resistant to Her influence, and I am immune. I do not know about you or any other warriors you know.
