Considering much of the network's recent activity, I fear my inquiry is not particularly scandalous, nor is it especially thought-provoking, but please bear with me for just a moment.

I'm looking for someone skilled in enchantment, particularly in the field of weaponry. I may have some work for you, if you're willing to try something for me. A paying job, of course, should it happen to work out.

If that sounds like something that might interest you, then let me know and we can sort out the details.

[If it's conversation he wants, then surely this, too, could've been solved over the network, but... Well, maybe he's old-fashioned, but these sorts of things are better done in person. Not plastering his face all over the network considering his general line of work, however, is also a plus. While occasionally necessary (like today), he'd like to keep it to a minimum.

Alternatively, feel free to wildcard and run into him anywhere. Although, wherever he is, you might be wondering why there's a chinchilla rolling around his feet. On second thought, haven't you seen it somewhere before...?]

Certainly. [Let's see, where to start...] The weapon I wield functions most effectively when imbued with aether, a natural energy found in my world that one might compare to the Chroma found in this one. Unfortunately, I lack the talent necessary to be able to manipulate this energy myself.

Theoretically, I suppose it need not be imbued with a natural source of energy, though under normal circumstances, that would be the most convenient.

[Aether made it so this kind of thing could be done on the go, though he didn't mind forgoing the convenience. It was more a matter of if anyone here could do it for him in the first place.]

interesting. sounds pretty similar to some tech on my world, though we call it dust. it's a sort of natural crystalline resource that we use it to make ammunition and weapons with elemental or incendiary properties. i mainly work with gravity dust myself, but my nieces might have some incendiary or lightning dust cartridges rolling around that i could get for you.

alternately, from what i understand, chroma in crystal form has some explosive properties that make it viable for use in ammunition. that's what the moon knights use, though getting access to the tech could be tricky.

good news is, once you've got your hands on something you can use, maintaining your stock is pretty easy with those copycat charms from the traveling merchant's shop.

Really now? [This was exactly the kind of information he was hoping for and then some. He's pleased.] That sounds like it just might do the trick.

[While he didn't doubt the potential effectiveness of Chroma as a substitute, it was still good to know of possible alternatives, especially when he figures he'll be just as useless with manipulating Chroma as he is with aether.]

If you can spare them, I would be very grateful to be able to test out one of these cartridges. I imagine the effects will be different, but the gunblade operates best with additional enhancement. I'd like to see what it can do.

[He's curious about getting his hands on whatever the Moon Knights use, too, but that sounds like it might involve some unsavory activities. Better to save those thoughts for elsewhere, he figures.]
