I agree, while it may be weird or strange or uncomfortable, it doesn't need to be something to feel ashamed or deeply embarrassed about.

As for the rest, that would be what I personally would indeed mean by issuing such a statement, but I've found that the reception changes from person to person. Thank you for giving me your insight into this.
