hi there! my name's hunk. (yes, really.)

sorry if this kind of thing has been brought up before. if it has, i missed it! please feel free to point me in the right direction!

anyway... probably mostly due to cordis problems, people needing food or wanting to learn how to cook has come up a couple of times. and i've also bumped into a lot of people who share a passion for cooking and cuisine! so i'm hoping to organize an easy recipe archive for those who need it AND maybe a team of people available to provide lessons and/or to team up on meal-based community events. that kinda thing!

so let me know if you like to cook and would be down for this? or if you DON'T like to cook and would like some guidance? or just drop your favorite recipes below!

if you're neither of those... which is superior: pancake dinner or spaghetti dinner?

sure it counts! i'm not gonna recommend people learn ONLY desserts, but... you already said you have other stuff you do, so there's balance!

oh gosh i think i've talked to him. a while ago... about gelato? anyway, i forgot all about it but yeah THE MOST italian apparently.

i wasn't even considering different branches of spaghetti possibilities. do we need, like, a spaghetti buffet?

im totally down. been kinda slowly learnin myself and a couple friends have taught me a few things but learnin more would b gr8! i used 2 b cordis so i kno ALL about that appetite deal ugh.

spaghetti dinner, OBVS?! noodles r the best

Spaghetti. Definitely the cheapest option for when you're broke, but also the most diverse. And, well, I miss Mom's spaghetti like crazy.

Speaking of food, I actually wanted to get a hold of you and ask a few questions about what you think might be good for a cafe menu.

there's way more but those are the essentials in my opinion

spaghetti we can go easy on but you've got like

- spaghetti
- angel hair
- fettuccine
- linguine
- vermicelli

that's not including all of the fucking pasta you can do we're just on the basic shit

the spaghetti option has rapidly become more complicated than expected.

and for cafes.... uh. doughnuts? pastry? pre-prep sandwiches? definitely chocolate croissants. any of that sounding good?

Oooh, pre-prep sandwiches and croissants. That sounds fantastic. Any chance I could convince you to teach me how to make croissants?

i can probably make my way through it alright, but i'm not remotely italian and did not come up in an area with a lot of italians. my authenticity meter is probably off the mark, if we're gonna be fussy.

i don't know. spaghetti and pancakes were just the two big group-type dinners that i thought of first. you know, like... the kinds that churches and fire departments hold.

And yeah, sure. I can do that.

Ah. Yeah, that makes sense. I've also heard about BBQ dinners for a bunch of people, but that would be a lot more intricate.

hm... a directory might b the best? pairing ppl up might lead 2 clashing personalities a bit more than just being able 2 see who's available and stuff.

like wat all u want in the dinner aside from the noodles? garlic bread is a must, prolly meatballs 4 those who like it... hm, i never rly thought about it.

yeah probably. now wondering if i can get an imu going somewhere, though. we could do kalua pig or something!

and don't mention it! just let me know when you're free? it might have to be a couple of days, too, because part of croissants required an overnight sit. they're prettying involved.

true! and it'd be a lot less require effort on the organizer's part. so... probably that!

somebody's put forward that we should offer multiple sauces. we might have a pasta rotation on our hands.
