[When Sherry speaks it’s clear she’s nervous, her voice is just a little too tense for casual conversation.]

Okay so I know people have been mu- changing, but has anyone had any changes around the eyes in particular? Like glowing spots?

I’m just trying to make sure this is the same thing everyone else is going through and not- uh, something else.

[Esme appears on the screen. All of the lights are of but the lower part of his face and down his throat is glowing a bright green color like he's holding a flashlight. He waves a glowing hand.]

Oh god... [Don't mind Sherry as she tries very hard not to laugh, out of relief and the fact poor Esme has apparently turned into a living nightlight.]

Guess I don't have to worry about growing extra eyeballs after all.

Okay now I think I got off lightly, are you doing okay Esme?

Why are glowing spots around the eyes of any sort of significance?

[Asks someone with glowing spots normally.]

Where I come from people don't usually have those, but there's a, a sickness which can cause mutations, eye mutations being a common one.

I guess it's silly, but I panicked when I saw my change this morning and wanted to make sure I wasn't sick.

Yes. Do you only have glowing spots around your eyes?

[ Aqua hesitates a little before replying to the message, but in the end concern for how Sherry was feeling won out over potential embarrassment at what had been going on with her. ]

I... I can't say that I've noticed any changes like that. But I don't really see how that could be anything else other than what's going on with the rest of us, not with the timing.

Y-yeah, that seems to be the case. I should have realised that from the start. I just panicked. Sorry.

[Still Sherry had heard that stutter, and that didn't sound much like the Aqua she'd seen so far.]

Are you okay?

No, I got a few... tentacles in my hair, horns too. It was just the spots I noticed first.

I'm guessing you have more than just the spots too?

Considering they glow, they would stand out.

... I have somehow grown antlers.

I haven't had any physical changes. At least, not physical changes that are like what you were describing.

[ Okay, yeah, that doesn't really answer the question, but the last thing she wants to do is actually admit to what's happening to her out loud right now.]

G-Growing...eyeballs?

[Turning on the lights again, he gives her a confused look that is almost mildly concerned.]

I am.

You seem to be quite fond of pointing out the obvious, is it not?

[Everyone seems to change involuntarily. Whether it is around the eyes or on the arms. Or suprise!fangs.]

[ The feed is pitch black for the first few seconds. ]

It's actually rather fascinating -

[ As he talks, neon blue spots slowly light up to illuminate his cheeks. ]

Never thought I'd be my own LED wiring. So, no - not just you.

That isn't 'silly' at all. If such is a sign of illness in your world, it is perfectly rational to be concerned.

Suffice to say, I feel as though many of us are experiencing...differences that we aren't normally accustomed to so it would follow that yours is likely similar.

Oh... [Oops.] You heard that huh?

[That stings, okay maybe worrying like she had was silly considering how many other people had changed, but her father's mutated eyes were something she'd have nightmares about her entire life.]

Not as obvious as you might think. I was asking about one specific change I hadn't seen yet to make sure it wasn't connected to something from my world. Now that I've seen it's not unique it's one less thing to worry about.

[Sherry chuckles]

While I didn't appreciate the fright this morning, I have to admit the lightshows I've been getting have been interesting.

Hmm, I guess antlers would be a better way to describe my horns too, they're pretty small though. [Which was why she missed them at first glance.]

I'm guessing yours are bigger? They're not causing you too much trouble, are they?

And you're right, a couple of friends have already shown me that they've been affected the same way [Sherry's tone turns amused.] The effect is quite dramatic when they turn their lights off.

[Aqua's evasiveness is just making her worry now, she locked the feed now in case Aqua didn't want to admit to antlers or something like that.]

Does that mean you've been changed another way?

I too am experiencing some...interesting changes myself, you are not alone in being alarmed. However the patches of light are not so different than what I- how do I even say- what my skin normally has so they have been the least of my worries. I can certainly see how it would be dramatic for anyone not used to such, however.

[Okay, that is a little funny to imagine though.]

[Zamasu had only noticed the scales were wrong after Sanguis had set.]

Try to explain yourself next time, mortal. You do not want to be the one who wants to waste precious time of others.

[A loud sigh can be heard.]

I rather want to hear why these changes happen. Not a pack of mortals yelling at one another that they experience the same thing.

Fortunately, they're not. I often wear button-up shirts, but they will prevent me from layering properly.
