I would like to wish my latest model, Yukari Takeba, a very happy birthday.

In honour of her beauty on this important day, I've attached a few sketches from our modelling sessions. Not only is she kind and generous in character, but her form is exquisite. I hope you will join me in showing your appreciation for her.

I'm well aware that an artist's career really takes off after they die, but you're being a touch impatient, aren't you?

Are you suggesting she model in a suit? I suppose it could be interesting, but I am no fashion photographer. What she wears is of less interest to me than the subject herself.

Greatness may yet elude me, and may do so for much of my career, but Takeba-san has been of great help in modelling for me. If I am impatient, it is only because I have such wonderful models to spur me on.

I don't think it matters what I suggest if she never models for you again.

I assumed that because she had agreed to model for me, she was happy for my work to be displayed, as Midna is. I see now that perhaps I was mistaken...?

If she has no problems modelling for you again, make that suit I suggested a cute bathing suit.

Especially for those of us who have spent any kind of time in the public eye attracting attention for our visual appeal, there's a rather large difference between agreeing to model for someone and agreeing to the public display of the result. It's true that the standards are different here, but we're still used to having to guard our reputations rather closely.

Normally, what you do with your art is your own business, but when someone else has posed for you, it's worth taking their feelings about it into consideration. Just because Midna-san was down for such an... expansive place in your gallery exhibition doesn't mean everyone will be.

(The clothes-on work will probably be fine, by and large.)

It can be a tasteful bathing suit. The P.E. class swimsuit has just as much appeal as the skimpy bikini for some subsets of people.
