text!

i'm kind of curious at what other people dream about and i would love to hear them! from dream dream which happen when you're asleep to ones that are life dreams, i guess they would be more life goals but... i am sure that you get the point.

i have to admit, i've never had them before so i want to know what it feels like for others. i do hope that this isn't too invasive.

thank you so much if you respond.

Often surrealist nonsense, regardless of whether the dream is good or bad. I used to be quite interested in analyzing it all but there are times when the mind just wanders where it will, and there's no deeper meaning than that.

Many people subscribe to this, yes. I do find it fascinating what the unconscious mind will do when the conscious mind isn't there to stop it, and often there is some benefit in looking deeper into it. It can show fears or wants that one has not formally acknowledged. But sometimes it's no use trying to make sense of it, it's just a random mix of images one has recently seen.

If I dream of a tree that grows bonbons after I have eaten bonbons and spent time near a tree, perhaps it means that I wish I had an easy, cost-free supply of bonbons such as a tree. But perhaps it only means I was eating bonbons under a tree and fell asleep.

For lack of a more tasteful term, I tend to think of them simply as regurgitated thoughts. It can be interesting to reflect on them and learn about oneself. Not unlike how many read astrology, although I'd say specific imagery from one's own mind has a bit more clout than something external like the stars.

Where you are from, is there a common way people reflect on themselves?

Forgive me, I hadn't meant to put you in a difficult position.

I am both deeply connected to, and separated from, my people. My own situation is that I am a culmination of many, as well as the land they live on, but such an existence means I cannot live as they do. While I strongly identify with many of the things that define them and their history is my own, I understand what it is to feel removed.
