And, since she's clearly got to wrap her arms around his waist to hang on (like a large, hungry, and overly affectionate boa constrictor), she can lean over his shoulder juuuust close enough to be uncomfortable. ]

He's used to riding with others, even if it's more uncommon, so when Panty mounts the bike behind him, he rolls his shoulders once to get comfortable.

Under normal circumstances, having someone slide up to his back and wrap their arms around his waist would have been normal. If anything, it's a nostalgic feeling now that he's got a powerful machine beneath him again. Cloud just didn't factor for the truth that contact meant Chroma building up. And that meant Panty's little attempt to be uncomfortable by leaning over his shoulder? Was just a little more effective. ]

A-Ah...

[ ... for about maybe two to three seconds when he suddenly starts revving the engine. ]

[ Cloud should have honestly known better. Granted, this is his pride as someone whose confident in his skills on the line. The blond's intentions are to not go blowing through crowded streets. Of course, it's the early evening, so traffic seems to be dying down a little anyway. ]

[ It's true. He really should have been more specific. Because the second he feels that hand of hers on his thigh, his lower body tenses up for a moment. Lip forming a tighter line, whatever noise of annoyance he makes in his throat dies beneath the sound of his bike's engine. Speaking of his bike... ]

[ Now that they've hit a stretch of open road? Cloud cranks up the speed. Sköll is a smoother ride than Fenrir, more based upon the fact it relies on Chroma over fuel. Matter of fact, the contact that Cloud and Panty have right now? Could effectively continuously fuel the machine. And that's when the tires start squealing as they suddenly take a very sharp turn.

Hope you're holding on real tight, Panty. Because that black and red machine is hugging towards the ground real close before they start roaring their way down another city road. But that's nothing. ]

My, that vehicle is so gorgeous! I am almost envious!

[ Shiny eyes! Marie has to discard everything else in the post just to say that. ]
