The thing that stands out mostly about the young woman is the large hat neatly sitting on her head, obviously cut in half from camera view. Greetings, everyone! For those who have not seen me before, my name is Marie. I know the past week has been stressful for most of you, including myself, but I am here to make an important announcement.

[ She clasps her gloved hands together, beaming. ]

Today, November 2nd, is my official birthday! I could have organized a wonderful party for the occasion, but I had a change of heart.

In fact, the party will occur on the same date of my new business' grand opening! I shall make another announcement beforehand, so please do sit tight and wait for me, my dears. I will not disclose too much for now... except that PrismaPlace will soon will brightened by a lot of beautiful smiles! Tee hee...!

[ A wink, and then she waves both her hands in goodbye. ]

I was born in Austria, but my parents were French, and I’ve lived there for most of my life now. I wasn’t sure I would ever hear the language again when I came here.

I was also born in Austria, and spent most of my life in France, like yourself.

Really? That is an incredible coincidence! I haven’t been back to Austria since I was a child, but I remember a bit of German. I’m sure we would have a lot to talk about, were we ever to find the time to sit down together.

True. Now I am quite curious about what more we could have in common with each other. It is exciting to think about! Not many people I know have a similar background to mine.
