No, I suppose not. Unpleasantness isn’t inherently evil, after all. It simply... is.

most people I know seem to automatically view it as bad. it's refreshing to see someone admit it can simply be something more... idk. neutral.

I do understand why people have such negative associations with it, but as I said... well, the physical variety exists for our protection, and the emotional variety results in growth. So it definitely exists for a reason.
