It's come to my attention that an acquaintance from my world is having difficulty finding moonlacing partNERS. I wouldn't be fit to call myself his classmate if I let him be turned to crySTAL, but due to his shyness I decided to take it upon myself and assist on his behALF.

So without further ado I would like to introduce Makoto Yuuki-kun~



Like myself he is an idol in our WORLD, albeit he places very little faith in himself and can be quite TIMID. But despite that unassuming and pure face he's a hard worker with many skills that would make him good compANY. He will treat you gently and would do anything you ASK, but beware of his abilities should you want to challenge him at video GAMES. He also makes very pleasant faces when flustERED.

It doesn't? I know how to turn it on when I go on stage, I don't know how to turn it back on when I'm not performing. How do you do it?

Hmm, let's see with our songs we like for our audience to have fun so we have energetic and hooks that you can sing along to. So we have a light sound, but with beats that will make you dance!

so i guess the category would be pop or light rock

the kind of music i like hmm anything catchy one of my friends plays guitar so he's been introducing me to rock and that's pretty good too

Knowing that there's someone else I can go to helps a lot

I always thought idols just played pop music
So it's new to me that there are different genres

Channel what you feel when you're performING. If you imagine you're talking to fans or your audience like you're on stage you'll carry yourself differently little by LITTLE. I'm just fortunate that for the most parts my clients as a fortune teller are the same demographic as an IDOL, so it's fairly easy to know what they enjoy and how to win their favOR.

Alchemy ... [ It seriously takes him a minute to remember what that is. He doesn't read much manga or know much about history, and he definitely knows nothing about witchcraft. ]

Is that that thing where you turn rocks into gold, or whatever? [ This actually peaks his interest now, because it sounds like a fantastic way to get rich. ]

Yes, that's corRECT. Although I would never claim to be someone that powerFUL.

[And for as interested in alchemy and science he is he does... Genuinely doubt whether that sort of thing is actually possible. But it definitely sounds less "mystical" to just admit that, right???]

He's kinda baby faced, but some girls like that. He's bound to find someone.

That's a damn shame. You know how rich you'd be if you could pull that off? Pure gold's probably, like, a million yen a kilo, or something ...

[ He doesn't actually know. He just assumes it's a lot because jewellery is so expensive and people actually invest in gold. ]

If you've got the alchemy background already, you should try figuring it out! Read some scrolls, or however that works ... [ He's going off video game logic. Read some old scrolls and improve your alchemy so he can try to get into this and they can all be rich, Natsume. ]

While I do want to make enough to live comfortably I also don't really aim to be overly RICH. Such excess breeds lazinESS.

[He definitely likes making money and has done enough schemes to make it- including some... Arguably shady things- but he also doesn't like the idea of being too lazy or complacent.]

"Read scrolls"? Are you mistaking me for a wizard in some RPG?

[He's played plenty of video games too and is definitely gonna call you out.]

It's almost the same thing, isn't it? Read some alchemy books, then. [ He knows most of what he knows from video games, okay. Magic and alchemy don't exist where he comes from. ]

But I can't believe what I'm hearing right now -- that there's someone out there who wouldn't grab a chance to be rollin' in the dough if they could! Think of all the shit you could buy.

You act as though those are easy to FIND. Back home such things are generally written off as myth or ficTION, so finding credible resources is diffiCULT.

[Especially since he's more or less stuck doing most of his experiments and studying in a secret weird archive room hidden in the school.]

While I have nothing against wanting to live comfortably and I completely understand wanting to have the money to freely do as one pleases I am not a magician for monetary gain ALONE. Perhaps you should take up the practice if that's something you would like to pursue yourSELF? Of course magic is not intended for the faint of HEART...

Wait, you mean it's something people can just learn? Thought you had to be born a witch or something, first ...

[ He does consider it, because it sounds really cool, but in all honestly, Josuke would probably lose interest the moment it gets too difficult. ]

How'd you learn then?

My family has been involved in the occult for centurIES, so I have always had something of a foot in the door so to SPEAK. But I pursued a broader spectrum of things on my own to have a bigger variety of knowlEDGE.

Of course there are those who have more natural talent than OTHERS.

Oh that sounds really nice I'd like to go there!

[He's heard of cat cafes, it would be great to go to a dog cafe. He really got to love dogs after getting to know Dakichi through Subaru.]

Performing is different I can always smile and be charming in front of an audience, but when I think of doing the same to someone I freeze up! I feel like if I do the same with someone I meet then it's like I'm not real. Not to say that you're not real when you're charming or anything it's just it's hard!

You are really good at that. How do you know what to pick for each customer?

I'd love to! I can sing some of my group's songs and my solo if you want
i'd love to hear your band's music! what do you play?
listening to the different groups at my school has introduced me to a lot of different types of music too
whenever i get a recommendation i find another type of music i like so i'm always glad when someone wants to give me a recommendation

It does feel good
It always helps me when I get really scared or nervous

I think I just like music in general, no matter what it is
And the different emotions in it

Oh I've listened to a couple alt rock songs I liked them
i would like to hear what you play too

that's one of my favorite things about going to a show
there's so many emotions that you can feel in the song it surprises me every time

I have my guitar with me, so I can play for you

At home, I work part time at a live house
So I get to see a lot of small shows
The stage is amazing whether I'm standing on it or watching from the audience

Well I suppose forcing yourself would certainly make it not feel as genuINE, but that also depends on how you carry yourSELF.

Every person is different so I can't give one blanket answer for YOU. I suppose it's something of an occupational skill that I have developed a knack for over TIME. But in general most people are receptive to your type of personality so I don't think you need to go out of your way to become more like me in that WAY.

Is it something just anyone can do, though? Even if they aren't from a family that already does that stuff?

[ He's curious now. It sounds fun. Of course, he doesn't want to work too hard either. ]

And -- more importantly: Do you gotta do anything gross like collect the tails of lizards and the eyes of newts for potions? [ Because he will abandon the whole endeavour if that's the case. He has a weak stomach for anything he finds disgusting. ]
