I am so, so sorry for what happened. I had heard stories, but I didn't know it would be as bad as it was.

[When Atsushi answers the door, he looks weirdly grumpy. Also he isn't wearing his glasses and his hair is pushed back? Weird.]

[Yeah, he can instantly tell that this Atsushi isn't the Atsushi-san he knows. He looks similar, but the grump gives it away.

Normally Atsushi would have assumed 'imposter' and would have instantly moved to disarm and capture this person. However, after meeting his own body-double, his mind goes to a more innocent answer than "this person kidnapped Atsushi-san and is impersonating him". If there can be doubles of the transforming Atsushi, then there can be doubles of the teacher Atsushi too.

This one doesn't look like much of a teacher, though.]

Ah...hello?

[He does eventually step in, but not before peering past Inner and into the apartment, clearly looking to see if Outer is in there too. He's thinking the two Atsushis are in separate bodies.]

Sorry if I'm being forward, but you're different from Atsushi-san, aren't you?
