They seem obsessed with their dolls, and something doesn't look right about their skin and eyes. I think there might be some sort of mental influence, possibly even a Chroma drain.
And, while I know this world doesn't have the same associations as my own, the fact that the owner's name is Asmodius doesn't make me feel any better about this.
