[ Excuse the interruption to your lovely first day of December the twelfth month, but here is a very courteous man with a nice fantasy RPG British accent. ]

I wish to announce the development of a community kitchen which shall reside within Middle Lunatia. It should be fully prepared for use by the end of the month. I understand fellow residents have produced many varied food-related businesses, and I thought to offer something within a similar vein, but to better use of those who would like to improve their own culinary skills.

I'll be providing a future update on when the location is ready for public use. If you've any questions, please feel free to approach me at any time. My name is Ignis Scientia.

Of no relation to the Lunar Scientia, I can assure you. [ Purely coincidence. Kind of annoying sometimes. ]

I'd also like to send an offer to those who would happen to have a spare amount of time during this month. I've a few baking ventures I wish to partake in and would be appreciative of anyone who would offer a willing palate for taste-testing. I lack the use of my sight, however I shouldn't require too much assistance.

I would advise that if such a risk is possible, you request private lessons, which I would be willing to arrange.

Improvement to the degree that you in fact do not set the kitchen on fire.

Though it sounds a bit low, it also sounds worth trying. The only thing I have successfully made without accident is toast.

Thank you, Angela. Of course you are more than welcome. I would not particularly think to call what I plan to do as a "job", per-say, but I am more than willing to offer lessons where I can. I'm by no means a professional. I'm only quite used to cooking for others. [ Less of a job, not even a hobby, he just likes making certain people happy. ] Though... managing a business, far less. I do enjoy a challenge every once in a while of course.

Between yourself and I, there's a certain feline I wish to treat for the holidays, and I would be more than welcome to having you come by to sample a particular something. Just to make sure presentation is adequate.

Do trust me, any amount of help is appreciative, regardless of how much tasting is done. I'm able to maneuver around my own kitchen well enough and have a general idea of where everything is located, but extra hands speed up the cooking process.

My apologies however, as I didn't entail to mean the kitchen would be open solely to those who are already able to cook. Skill or lack there-of, you're welcome to its use, and if you cannot find a willing teacher for whatever you are curious in learning then I offer my services to assist you.

Quite the idea. I must say, I hadn't thought upon food reviews, however it does help with the publicity aspect to generate more interest. Individuals using the kitchen could use it for a boost in morale as well.

I wasn't born blind. In fact, I've been without my sight for coming along half a year now. My other senses have managed to compromise, and memorization has helped me immensely, but ultimately I've had a large amount of help from others.

I do not intend to accept any form of chroma or demichroma.

[ There's surprisingly not a pause when he answers. ]

That is of course my own decision. What others decide to accept in return for what they receive from the kitchen, a place to work, a place to eat, is up to them.

That I shall leave to be decided upon by those who decide to use the kitchen, however I do encourage these meals be shared with the community, yes. I myself intend to offer meals to visitors when I'm available.

A dreadful nuisance, more like. It happens on a less frequent basis now but I get quite tired of being mistaken for one of those scientists and being asked the most confusing questions

...I did receive a free coffee from the Lunar Scientia headquarter's coffee shop once, but that is beside the point.

I'll be happy to help. Improving culinary skills, you said? Are there going to be classes?

It would not be terribly off the mark to say the location would be something of a combination between a school and a restaurant, I simply would not be comfortable using any of those words reliably. I've hardly the qualifications to be a teacher.

While I don't wish to discourage such a thing, I must say, even a smidgen of cooking sense would have been quite convenient during your ventures with a certain associate of ours.

[ Because odds are Ignis probably asked how Gladio and Cor got by food-wise during Episode Gladio. And then Ignis would have had a heart-attack hearing the two of them got by only on cup noodles. ]

[ Also there might be a bit of a skip in his heartbeat right now. Cooking for the Marshal...!! ]

But yes, cooking for you would be an honor, Marshal. In fact I don't believe I have any notes of your preferences.

[ So the voice that comes out to Ignis is one of a robotic nature. Thankfully these devices have text to speech functions on them, though Shigeru is never really one to use them because of how...jarring they are. But he can't exactly text the poor man so this will have to do. ]

I love to cook and would definitely like to take you up on your offer! What sorts of baking are you going to be doing? Maybe I could help, if you need any?

Thank you for your interest. Nothing terribly large, I must say. My baking tends to primarily be for small desserts, and I do have recipes for all my own creations. I imagine the city's occupants will be preoccupied with traditional celebrations for the holiday season and whatever Firialia entails, so the easier and faster the process the better.
