I'm the Shield Hero. If that's something you have a problem with, I don't want to hear about it. I run the Heavenly Fowl apothecary, so if you need potions you know where to go. As far as Moonlacing goes, I'll do it but don't expect to go any further than touching unless I already know you. I'm an Iris, for whatever the hell that matters.

Ah, you're younger than I imagined... Still, knowing when someone will be affected by the moons and may need companionship is very helpful, so I'm sure it matters.

You never did explain what being the Shield Hero meant, you know.

It means a lot of headaches, mostly. The short version is me and a few other guys got summoned to Raphtalia's world to fight off this big calamity. We each ended up with a weapon to fight with, but we can only use that one weapon. I got the shield. Lucky me, huh?

The best part is, I didn't know it but that country had this religion that basically labelled me the devil, even though I got summoned to save their world. It was pretty much a mess.

We ended up clearing most of that up and I'm actually pretty strong now, but if the wrong person from that world came here and started trying to cause me problems I don't even want to deal with it.

That sounds like quite the trial; I'm so sorry to hear of such blatant discrimination. Were they relics of a fashion? That you were all chosen for?

I know it can only mean so much, but I think you've made your character quite clear to many in this place simply by helping them. And I'll always be in your corner.

Who knows? I don't do anything looking to be thanked, but if anyone is grateful for anything I've done that's fine with me. I'm not in a person to turn away potential allies at this point.
