That depends on the version of Paris that you go to. While the one that most are familiar with is primarily a human population there is another solely controlled and lived in by vampires.

I am totally unfamiliar with any version, so that is all right. But what do you mean by version, exactly? Is there a nation where there are two cities with the same name, but only one is common knowledge? Or is it something like, they exist on separate planes?

Separate planes would be the most accurate way to put it. Altus Paris- which is the one inhabited by vampires- can only be accessed through certain gateways and a majority of humans aren't aware of its existence at all.
