I'm not human, no. I'm a malak.

We're not human, but that doesn't mean we're invulnerable or anything, so a malak could still end up needing to have his leg or arm amputated if he was gravely injured.

I couldn't tell from your photos; I'm afraid I don't know what a malak is, but I've come to expect there are many things I don't know in this place, haha.

It doesn't sound all too different from what I know though, as humans are much the same. They deserve a bit more credit from how much they can bounce back from!

I hope my expertise will never be needed, in that regard, but you're always welcome to come visit or drop by for smaller injuries all the same. Even if you were just interested in seeing the prosthetics, I'd be happy to show you what I have on hand.

I'm an earth spirit. In normal circumstances, most people can't see me at all, so this is all kind of a shock.

I will gladly show you some of the prototypes I have around. I have one patient whose legs don't function from the knee down, so I created braces to allow him to walk upright and have been working on some other things. A synthetic skin cover for any cybernetics to withstand most forms of damage, for others.

Everyone here can see me as far as I know, yeah.
At least the people who greeted me when I first showed up could see me, and seemed puzzled when I asked them about it.

And as for any place to meet, I suppose that depends on your standing opinion of coffee or tea— cafes are always my favorite. You can often find a seat outside of the establishment and observe others with something hot to drink.

But I know of some wonderful bars, as well, if that's a little more your style. Assuming an Earth spirit can drink alcohol. 😉

And don't worry about me there, I can hold my liquor quite well.

No? Well, I'll have to change that. It's stronger than a black tea and richer, and you can add flavoring or cream and sugar if it's a bit too bitter at first. I still add cream to mine even if I could drink it plain.
