It has been brought to my attention that some among us are concerned that the dead and undead may be a grave threat to those who reside in this city. [ He's a brat so he sure did link that article. ] Since that is the case, I thought I would propose a truly terrifying event that will strike fear in the hearts of all who live here.

[ INSERT DRAMATIC PAUSE HERE ]

A potluck.

[ A potluck, Archer?? ]

For those of you unfamiliar with the custom, it involves bringing your own favorite dish to a gathering and everyone sampling the food provided.

If you are dead, undead, or of supernatural origins, and would be interested in such a thing, let me know, and I'll be more than happy to organize it.

I have a location in mind but not a date. When I know, I'll be sure to give a week's notice.

[A week should be enough for him to prepare a dish that looks like it was tortured and executed for high crimes, but also looks appetizing.

It's no trouble.

[ He's sort of...excited? Happy? About doing this? What a strange feeling. ]

I've been well enough. This place is fairly mundane most of the time so it's hard to complain.

[ Things usually happen at least once a moment to spice things up (not always in a good way) so he can't say he's 100% bored here. ]

[He's not going to judge if Archer does feel happy about doing something like this. Even if, in Sanson's mind, this place was still not mundane enough for his liking.]

Likewise, although my roommate got into a bit of trouble and I had to save him from lethal dolls.

[ Eternal battles and murder does skew one's perspective a bit. The furry is kind of annoying sometimes and the doll shit was weird af, but it's certainly not worse than what he left. ]

Ah. I didn't have too much trouble with them myself, but I did have to look after someone who was...affected.

[ He's just glad Rin's okay now. ]

That may be one of the stranger things that's happened here since I arrived.

I might have to agree. It was...jarring, seeing someone so servile.

[Normally Edgeworth would not be the type to easily bend to another person's will. It felt so wrong, hearing and seeing him follow Sanson as though the latter were a master. Without the capital M.

It was a lot easier to simply slice your way through the dolls and rescue people without having to deal with some of them getting brainwashed and becoming extra frilly.]

I agree.

I wouldn't mind another trip to the dragon lands, but I could do without another incident like that.

I wouldn't mind having to care for another dragon, either.

[Probably because he was now much more open to the idea of raising a dragon child with Marie.]
