It has been brought to my attention that some among us are concerned that the dead and undead may be a grave threat to those who reside in this city. [ He's a brat so he sure did link that article. ] Since that is the case, I thought I would propose a truly terrifying event that will strike fear in the hearts of all who live here.

[ INSERT DRAMATIC PAUSE HERE ]

A potluck.

[ A potluck, Archer?? ]

For those of you unfamiliar with the custom, it involves bringing your own favorite dish to a gathering and everyone sampling the food provided.

If you are dead, undead, or of supernatural origins, and would be interested in such a thing, let me know, and I'll be more than happy to organize it.

That is a very vague answer. But I think I see what you mean. I understand him, yet I realize very well that others might not.

[To many Gilgamesh isn't a pleasant person to be around with. Yet Enkidu knows a lot of it stems from the sacrifice he has made. The solitude he has chosen...]

If you dislike him, I will not hold it against you. After all, it is something between you both.

[Enkidu's a weapon, not someone who judges.]

[ Archer sighs. ]

It is not a lack of understanding so much as a difference in timelines. It would take some time to explain the intricacies of it, but in short, in another time and place, we were not allies.

[ Enemies, really, but that's a messy story he doesn't think is worth telling at the moment. That said- ]

I have met him here as well, but I have no reason to bear your friend ill will as things stand now.

[ Archer is a weapon by nature as well, made so by his long years of service as a counter guardian, so he is both pragmatic and less inclined to judge. He doesn't outright dislike Gilgamesh so much as he's wary of him -- though even that not so much since his first conversation with the other Servant here was about egg babies. ]

I consider it a positive thing that you have each other here.

[Enkidu smiles at that. They want Gil to make friends, to be happy, to undo what he might have done. He should leave that past behind.]

Hmm...try to be his friend. I am well aware of how he is but...I would appreciate it if you can become his friend.
