Lunatia is so very different from my homeland. I wonder if there are others who have never seen such things as they have seen here.

To those who have been here for some time, does it ever begin to feel like home? What makes a place home?

I believe you can make wherever you wish to your home as long as you're with the people most important to you. Home becomes a person.

That
That is what home is to me.

Even if we are separated, I know that he will be fine and will continue on the righteous path. That is what I intend to do, and while

while I miss him greatly I trust things to work out.
Also, much as it shames me to admit to this selfishness, seeing you brings me great comfort.

You get used to it.
Some might find it "like home" but I don't doubt others don't.
How you holding up?

It's very different from my homeland as well. But different though it is, there are also many similarities - the people still worship gods, enjoy festivities, have children and lovers and friends.

As for what makes a place home...it's been a long time since I could truly call a place my home, so my standards may be a little different from yours, but I believe any spot where you can lay your head for the night without worry is a good place to start.

It is so different, Song Daozhang. But there are definitely others to whom it is strange. And, as to what makes a place home, I think it is the people.

Although I guess that means that if different people you care about a lot are in different places, that might make things a little confusing.

This is the first place I had seen humans.

I've only been here a couple of weeks. It will probably not feel like home because of that, though.

There's going to be something new for most people to experience here since it's an entirely new world.

Does it feel like home? No, but that isn't entirely bad. It's not like everywhere I go needs to feel like home.

In some ways it a little like the city I left behind, so that wasn't much of a shock. When I arrived I had some friends who'd been here a little longer than I, so it was easier to settle in.

Most of our Agency is here, actually, which is nice. I don't think I'll ever really think of this place as home without everyone else, but it's easier to deal with, with them around. It's better than home was at the moment, but I still want to get back to it, some day.

[ ... and Sizhui winces a little, suddenly wondering if Song Daozhang was torn between thinking of his home with Xiao Daozhang or at Baixue. If he was additionally upset because he had wondered. If...

It's a good thing this is via text.
]

Or that! But no, I think it's all right to not quite feel at home here yet?

Are you doing all right, Song Daozhang?

It is, but you have to adjust even if it is weird. [ And he's not sentimental, either. It helps. ]

Do you want this place to feel like home, though?

Zichen, you could never be selfish. You are the best person I know.

I imagine so. Though I would be curious if there are other places that have things like Chroma that needs to be earned as a form of currency, too.

It seems unique to them here, so far. Of everyone I've talked to, at least.

Having a good companion is definitely one way to find comfort in foreign lands. I've traveled alone for many years, myself, but I was lucky enough to have a recent friend accompany me here, and we've been getting along quite well.

I hope you can meet that friend of yours again, or find a similar comfort in this world. The Caihong area is always nice to visit when I'm feeling nostalgic, at least.

You know, I didn’t really think about it, but I think it kind of snuck up on me. I’ve been thinking of this place as a vacation for a good long while, but at some point it started to feel different.

Maybe it was around the seventh potted plant? I have no idea.
