I know many of us are here without planning for it but...How many of us feel we need back home? How many of us left something important behind, something we needed to see through to the very end?

I suppose this is not the best way to introduce myself, but I--shared experiences can help one feel more comfortable. I am...My name is Zelda. If anyone has met others from a place called Hyrule, I would appreciate knowing they are here, that they are safe...

I've been trying to research some way for us to get back since I got here. My problem is that I'm not very familiar with the technology here, so I have to learn all that before I get anywhere.

I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with it either, though it has some similarities to things I encountered back home. Perhaps it is a puzzle that is best solved with a group effort.


Another...I'm afraid I never met another that shared my name, though it's not outside the realm of possibility. There are...stories about reincarnation where I am from, perhaps that is related. That is, assuming this Zelda is from a world tied to my own.

Then again, the important thing I was getting ready to do was to go find someone who means the worlds to me. Then he showed up here with me, so that worked out.

I’ll admit, I got dragged here at what was basically the worst possible time. Fortunately, I recently encountered someone from a few decades ago in my world’s history and I haven’t suddenly started thinking she’d vanished for however long, so it might not even be an issue that we’re here... but all the same, it does make me pretty antsy about the whole thing.

Perhaps...If there is nowhere you believe yourself to be needed, this is where you do need to be. I do not believe that people simply cease to be needed...distance can sometimes shift our perspective to help us see where that need lies.
