[ Evenings in Re-L's apartment lately have been.. almost lively. With Iggy back she's spent more time being a bit more insular, reacquainting with her Entourage and settling in to having him around again. The phantom limb from before has faded in to...

Perhaps she could call it sadness. Yearning, maybe, too. To know what Iggy could've been like if she'd given him the chance to live freely with Cogito, as Pino and Kristeeva still do with her and Vincent. Thinking too much and too hard has always been her downfall, and for lack of anything else to do with her musings than seek some kind of guidance, she's slunk away to a library to see if there is any advice to be had that may soothe her mind some.

- - By the volumes that surround her, it seems that's been a not so fruitful endeavor, a volume thrown to the side with an almost huff of annoyance. ]

Of all these books there is nothing that really reads like Seneca.. [ A sigh, blue eyes darting here and there on the volumes in front of her before she recites - ]

Errare humanum est, sed perseverare diabolicum: 'to err is human, but to persist in the mistake is diabolical.'

The problem is I don't quite know if I've made a mistake and none of this is particularly useful in determining.

Does anyone read philosophy, here? Or have any guidance on where to find Lunatian volumes that read like Seneca?

Seneca is a philosopher I've read since I was younger. He was one of the stoics and I prefer to go to him when I have.. a dilemma.

But most things here favor hedonism, of course.

Somewhat of one, yes. But I think it's one of those situations where what's done is done and I'm.. thinking too much in the aftermath. [ Which is what she tends to do, from time to time. After all, Iggy is already here as he is so there's probably little to no use in fussing further. ]

Still, I was hoping to find something a bit more enlightening.

[ There are a lot of situations that she could be referring to, and so he can't give some off-the-cuff remark about what has happened.

BUT he can give one about how she's attempting to solve it. Because he's just that great of a person. ]

Enough people just ask the fools that exist on this network rather than delve into a book. You might as well do that since you can't figure out your own answer by yourself, anyway.

I don't want to ask for idiotic advice. I want to read something that will help me to establish my own answer. [ She'd been born a naturally selfish girl, yes - but she didn't want to keep repeating history so far as Iggy went. ]

Half the people here can't even figure out each other, much less issues that involve thought.

I doubt those who wrote those books figured much out in their life beyond how to put their ramblings onto paper. And aren't you also someone who can't figure yourself out?

It's a bit hard too without all the information. [ In a very literal sense. It's what happens when you're a clone of a proxy possible or some other mess. Still, she rolls her eyes at the implication that a philosopher just wrote down ramblings - ]

I suppose you're just all knowing and omnipotent, then? Or something equally unbelievable?
