My heartfelt greetings to all that this letter may find.

My name is Sansa of House Stark, daughter of Eddard, Warden of The North. I write regarding the inclement weather that plagues the city now. The snow is harsh, and heavy, and to judge by the bite of the wind, it will be no less cruel.

I seek aid. I do not know how to hunt game, nor do I understand most of the meals sold in the glass-windowed shops found in this city. As well, I need cloths, and needle and thread, to fashion clothes that will stand the coming weather. I hope to sustain myself here, but know not how or where to begin. I can only offer my skills with needlework in exchange for any help.

I would be indebted for any kindness given.

I will admit, on some level I have been enjoying trying new things, but it is far easier to enjoy the unfamiliar once you have gotten your bearings to a certain extent. And if you have friends to help you, of course.

I have never particularly liked cold weather, so it may be more inconvenient for me than it is for you.

Home - Winterfell, that is - has always run cold. This weather is intimately familiar; the castle I grew up in had heated stones everywhere to keep the cold out. I'm not dressed appropriately for this weather, however. I'm concerned for when the cold deepens, as it likely will, given the light in the sky.

Ah, and I've yet to make friends here. Many have been kind and generous with their time, however - I'm hopeful I'll make a few soon enough.

There is a region like that in my homeland, as well, though I have generally had the good fortune to avoid visiting Faerghus in winter. Many people here who I know back home are from there, though, so I at least have their advice to help me.

Fortunately, I have found it fairly easy to make friends here. There are many people to speak with from all walks of life, so you are bound to encounter people you can befriend sooner rather than later.

That is true enough, but every friendship starts somewhere, does it not? In any case... I suppose it depends on the area of Faerghus. There are parts that I am not particularly fond of, but the Rhodos Coast to the west of Faerghus is, perhaps, my favorite place in the entire world.
