i received a bunch of beautiful flowers and it reminds me.

how do you take care of them so they last as long as possible in a vase?

[He could look it up, but reading isn't as fun as chatting with random people.]

unless it's not that different from farming?

[He types, as if he doesn't regularly complain about farmwork back in his world.]

also related to that: who knows flower language?

All right, then their time will sadly be limited to a week or so, no matter what you do.

If you haven't cut the stems, do so at an angle to help them intake water more; if they're flat on the bottom of a vase they won't be able to drink much. Also, trim any leaves or thorns below the water line.

Check your flowers every day to remove withering leaves and petals, since that can make the others rot. Also, if you have a cool place in your home to put them, you should do that! Flowers in a vase do better when it's cold; I've heard that people even put them in the refrigerator overnight to prolong their lifespan.

Yes, it's very sad :( In the future, if you can get a potted flower, it will last much longer! But flowers need their root systems intact to survive longer than a week or two at best.

Please let me know how it works, keeping them in a refrigerator! It's always seemed like such an interesting idea, but I've never done it myself.

Yes, please do! I think you would find it very rewarding.
My name is Haru Okumura! If you couldn't tell, gardening is something of a hobby of mine. :)

Goodness, aren't those two exciting hobbies!
A good friend of mine is a model, actually.
How does one find interest in both of those subjects?

Is a sword warrior just someone who fights with a sword?
Because I have friends who do that.
Or is it a specific title for a particular achievement?

Oh! So you're the spirit of an actual sword?
How did you get a human body, if I may ask?
Or are you some sort of robot?

Spiritual energy? You mean, like the power of their soul?

[weirdly, she knows about that.]

Hmm... well, not quite the same as what I was thinking, but very interesting!

What's it like, being a sword?

I see! Yes, that would seem to be the purpose of a sword indeed.

Did you have senses? Without eyes or ears, how did you see and hear?

What happens if you get chipped or broken? Or rusted?

Would that be like a human breaking a limb?

I see. I can only imagine that would be very frustrating for you at the time.

Are all swords conscious? Or is there something special about you?

Oh, I didn't mean to imply that you weren't special at all! I apologize if I've offended.

Why are you difficult to use? I've always preferred axes, but I always thought one sword was just like another.
