[There's a lengthy silence at the beginning of the post, so those who are impatient might not stay tuned for what comes after. He won't mind. His mind's on bigger things. His voice is carefully disguised as he recites a few lines:]

[Wataru laughs faintly, this laugh his own, undisguised.]

You know... The strangest thing happened. I was here, preparing to celebrate this place's Christmas, and I noticed my chroma ebbing at a higher rate than usual. I don't remember entirely what came next--I think I laid down to rest, and I dreamed I was home again. For a matter of months, actually. Now, I've returned to find the date advanced a week, and the good keepers here acting as though I'd physically left. I hope I haven't worried anyone in my absence, but if I have, I'll offer my sincere apologies! The show must, and will, go on.

Though, more importantly... Has anyone seen a white dove? She answers to the name Jeanne D'Arc, and she's quite the talent.

But you said you thought it was just a DREAM... Did it not seem real or have you simply grown accustomed to this PLACE?

Have you grown since I left? No, it was only a week here, right?

It's hard to tell what's a dream and what's real. I had no recollection of this place when I was home, so I thought maybe one or the other wasn't real...

Stagnation is a curse so one should always try to grow, but I can't claim that I have significantly in only seven DAYS.

Then did the memories of this place return when you woke up HERE?

Stagnation is a curse, you're absolutely correct. I'll see to it that I keep moving forward, though I hate to tell you anything of a future you haven't seen. That is, unless you'd like to know.

They did return, for better and for worse. It feels... how shall I put this? Odd to have been without phsyical contact for this long.

While I'm here I could do little to change IT, but I also can't say for sure that I want to know eithER. Then again I'm not entirely sure I even know what you had last experienced before coming here in the first PLACE.

I suppose it's better than having to re-acclimate to everything all over again from the beginnING... But I'm sure it's still all very disorientING.

[A pause. And then-]

You're not still low on chroma, are YOU?

I think I kept your future from you before for quite the reason, but good news is good news! I'll hold back, ever so generously.

I feel much better than I did previously! Strangely enough, I'm wondering if there wasn't something wrong with me before. Illness, perhaps? Perish the thought.

I hope there was nothing wrong with you before but I think it would be difficult to investigate NOW...

But in what ways do you feel bettER?

My chroma doesn't feel so drained. I feel recharged, perhaps? I was sincerely having trouble finding enough moonlacing to get by! Cordis certainly is taxing.

I wish you would have come to me if you were having so much troUBLE... Do I really seem that unreliABLE?

You have my sincere apologies, for I am the unreliable one, who lately can't even be counted upon to take care of myself.

If you want me to come to you, I certainly will from here on out. I do find myself newly homesick, so to speak, so perhaps you can fill the gaps on what I missed here to ground me once again?
