(Sanguis has blessed her and no one can tell her differently. Daenerys is standing before a mirror, running her fingertips over the horns protruding from her head. However those additions do not thrill her as much as the leathery wings on her back.

If her smile makes you feel a bit uncomfortable, that is understandable. The scales on her cheeks and the fact that her blue eyes are anything but human don't help matters, however there is an undefinable quality about her. Perhaps this isn't a blessing after all.)

Am I a monster? (Her hands shake as she presses her talons against her cheeks.) Is this...me? Have I always been this?

[You know what.

Engineer puts himself on video. He has horns too - long, hefty-looking, with points curved outward. The Texan gestures to them with black claws and arms a lot hairier than they were the last time he showed his face on the network. Horns, claws, and extra hair aisde, though, he looks like a fairly normal guy.

You know, even if he looks like a cross between a bear and a Texas longhorn.]

Take it from me, ma'am. Most monsters got a lot more qualifying traits then a coupl'a horns.

(His appearance merits a longer stare from bright blue eyes with slit irises. Scales in black, blue and silver trail down Daenerys's cheeks and down her neck. She is wearing a soft robe, tied securely at the waist. From the ridges here and there under the fabric, she has scales down her sides and her thighs. Her fingers end in sharp talons the same hue as the horns on her head. Her wings are pressed against her back, signalling her tension.)

What I did makes me a monster. I was a dragon, but not one that sought justice.

Mmh. So I take it this... [He gestures to... you know. Her. In general.] ... ain't helpin'.

...no. I thought... (Tears spill down her cheeks.) I thought I would feel...like I did. I had a mission; I knew I was right.

[Engie puts a hand up.]

Look, I... I don't know you or what you did. I ain't a good man myself. Made a lot of hell for a lot of people... most of it I still don't exactly regret.

I'll say this though. The fact that you regret it? That says somethin'.

(She wipes at the tears with her palms, carefully avoiding her talons.)

What I did isn't who I want to be. Of course I regret it.

(Daenerys makes herself breathe. To explain.)

I burned a city and its inhabitants to ashes; all to claim a throne and kill the queen who usurped it from my father. I wanted to protect the innocents - not slaughter them.

[There's no judgement there. Nothing too damning. Just taking in information, mulling it over.

Honestly, it wasn't much different than other folks around here.]

I never stopped feeling. I never abandoned my conscience completely. It was just...loss. I watched those dearest to me die. Horribly. Then I was supposed to be calm when I faced their murderers?

(How can anyone be asked to remain unbiased in those circumstances?)
