(Sanguis has blessed her and no one can tell her differently. Daenerys is standing before a mirror, running her fingertips over the horns protruding from her head. However those additions do not thrill her as much as the leathery wings on her back.

If her smile makes you feel a bit uncomfortable, that is understandable. The scales on her cheeks and the fact that her blue eyes are anything but human don't help matters, however there is an undefinable quality about her. Perhaps this isn't a blessing after all.)

Am I a monster? (Her hands shake as she presses her talons against her cheeks.) Is this...me? Have I always been this?

I wouldn't call them innocent nor a peculiarity. My transformation, at least this one, isn't because of the moons. It is who I am.

And whatever you've done, you clearly feel guilt and remorse. Anyone - everyone - can change. It still doesn't make you a monster. It just makes you human because humans make mistakes.

Is it? How is it that you have two forms? (Or more. She doesn't want to assume someone isn't human, but that would be an oddity in her world.)

I had...a dream. A vision. It's difficult for me to turn away from it; to accept that I no longer have any control. I mourn everyone who perished and I mourn who I should have been.

I was born with draconic blood. So while I can appear human I can also appear as a dragon at will. It's taxing to do here, but I still possess the ability.

They said much the same of my family, but I don't recall any stories of us transforming. However I am immune to fire.

(Killing for necessity is one matter. What Daenerys had done was wrong. Sure, she killed men who might have betrayed her, but she also roasted children, mothers and the elderly.)

I want to live simply here. I'm not a queen or a conqueror; I am merely myself.
