(Sanguis has blessed her and no one can tell her differently. Daenerys is standing before a mirror, running her fingertips over the horns protruding from her head. However those additions do not thrill her as much as the leathery wings on her back.

If her smile makes you feel a bit uncomfortable, that is understandable. The scales on her cheeks and the fact that her blue eyes are anything but human don't help matters, however there is an undefinable quality about her. Perhaps this isn't a blessing after all.)

Am I a monster? (Her hands shake as she presses her talons against her cheeks.) Is this...me? Have I always been this?

"Monster", to me, suits my father or my brother. Men who were mad and cruel; men who forgot their humanity. I don't care what I look like physically; I celebrate this transformation, but it reminds me of what I did.

I have no reason to be proud. I have no reason to be alive. Who am I anymore?

Then we use it the same way.

It sounds like we have that in common, as well. If you're still alive, you create a reason to be. Maybe you won't be proud again or forgive yourself, if you think you need that, but you shouldn't waste what you have.

I want to help others. I want to protect those who need it and be a good friend. I want to fight the madness I may have inherited and I don't want to do anyone any harm. I know I would go too far with it.
