(Sanguis has blessed her and no one can tell her differently. Daenerys is standing before a mirror, running her fingertips over the horns protruding from her head. However those additions do not thrill her as much as the leathery wings on her back.

If her smile makes you feel a bit uncomfortable, that is understandable. The scales on her cheeks and the fact that her blue eyes are anything but human don't help matters, however there is an undefinable quality about her. Perhaps this isn't a blessing after all.)

Am I a monster? (Her hands shake as she presses her talons against her cheeks.) Is this...me? Have I always been this?

(A heavy newborn and one with a long tail and wings! Daenerys is the only one who can hold him like this and it does seem to calm him. Drogon is sedate about inspecting Dextera and he gives the man a little snort before he rubs at his face with his front foot.)

I think so. (She is proud of her son and it shows.) He is very intelligent. The dragons of my world have never been monsters.

That's more...humanity.

[ she provides a good segue for them to talk about what he’s here for, but he’s still intrigued by the demeanor of her little pet. companion. child. he isn’t sure which yet, especially when she looks so very much like she could be his actual mother. ]

[ a pause. he glances past her, gesturing with his eyes into the room. ]

(She lowers Drogon onto the sofa and nods.) Please make yourself comfortable.

(Straightening, she crosses her arms before her, watching him curiously.)

Are you hungry or thirsty? I keep plenty of fruit on hand.

Um—yes. Fruit is good.

[ dextera sits down next to drogon, with a healthy distance between the two of them so as to not make the creature too territorial, and folds his hands politely in his lap.

daenerys really is beautiful. he knows now is not the time, though, so he keeps it to himself. ]

(She gives him a brief smile and moves to the kitchen, placing a variety of fruit on a platter. Then she brings out a pitcher of freshly squeezed juice and a pair of cups.)

Drogon prefers meat, but I've been fond of fruit since I was a child.

(Once everything is within easy reach, she joins him on the sofa.)

[ dextera nods, quietly thanking her for the fruit and the juice. it’s more than he would ever expect to receive from somebody just for his presence, but she seemed so worried about herself on the network. he would have showed up, done his work, and left in an instant if she wanted him to… but she’s being so hospitable. ]
