[ Here's a Fish.
For those of you new to Fish, they're a very long, very slender androgynous merfolk with red hair and fins, lavender skin, and very bright blue eyes.
They're relaxing in a bathtub full of fizzing, opulent blue, violet, orange, and pink suds that seem to be sparkling in the video. Someone's been enjoying a bath bomb. And they've got a flute of what seems to be champagne, too. ]
A conversation with someone I met on the beach before the Firialia festivities put a question in my mind that's been lingering there for a bit...
If it isn't too personal, how do you feel about open relationships? Are you in one yourself?
I'm in one, and it's the best arrangement I feel for my lover and I with our personalities and lifestyles. So, I've been curious about how other people feel about this kind of thing.
[ They have a sip of their drink and crosses their legs in the water, exposing their knees above the psychedelic suds. ]

[ Saying she has a list is a little embarrassing to her. Gwenhwyfar nervously twists a lock of her hair. ]
I've met him prior to Yuletide. [ And it wasn't a pleasant encounter, having been bitten by... whatever creature Nikolai transformed into. Something akin to what Druids would describe the geilts. Judging Molly's reaction, Gwenhwyfar omits this from her explanation. ]
Poor dear was slumped over on a bench, outside of the forest. I crossed paths with him as I was out on my daily errands. He looked like he was going to faint. He's very handsome... and he has his own set of scars. Smaller than mine, though. He's a confident fellow but I suppose I've always been drawn to that. I'm surprised he hasn't caught the attention of other women with that charsima.

We certainly have a lot in common. And I did kiss him. What do I do from here?

Relationships are adventures, darling. You won't know where you'd end up unless you move forward.

[ Gwenhwyfar seems a little apprehensive with this answer. All her life, people have directed her on what to do. Having this sort of freedom is wonderful but is still very overwhelming. ]
Alright. What happens if it goes sour?

[ Fish seemed very confident with this answer, their eyes bright. ]
I did that when my very first relationship, which I thought would be my life, fell apart.

[ It's not an answer she likes, of course. ]
That pain... I can hardly tolerate it.

[ She wonders if this situation counts. ]
I wasn't taken from my home arriving here, you see. I was already taken away from my home and my betrothed. That was the worst pain I've ever felt, being so far away from home, him, and my mother. I don't like losing those I love, I hate it. I want them beside me, always.

[ Fish shakes their head. ]
There are ways to soften the blow, end a relationship but gain a friend. Mine ended horribly, though-- an intense argument. He was a very jealous man. Physically hurt me for trying to live the life I wanted as a performer.
