[ Here's a Fish.

For those of you new to Fish, they're a very long, very slender androgynous merfolk with red hair and fins, lavender skin, and very bright blue eyes.
They're relaxing in a bathtub full of fizzing, opulent blue, violet, orange, and pink suds that seem to be sparkling in the video. Someone's been enjoying a bath bomb. And they've got a flute of what seems to be champagne, too. ]

A conversation with someone I met on the beach before the Firialia festivities put a question in my mind that's been lingering there for a bit...

If it isn't too personal, how do you feel about open relationships? Are you in one yourself?

I'm in one, and it's the best arrangement I feel for my lover and I with our personalities and lifestyles. So, I've been curious about how other people feel about this kind of thing.

[ They have a sip of their drink and crosses their legs in the water, exposing their knees above the psychedelic suds. ]

If I booked you for Club Tourmaline later this month, would I get to see it?

[ Their eyes aren’t bright, clearly excited about the idea. ]

We don’t allow minors into the establishment anyway.

[ Does Fish love murder and mayhem? Well, they'll get to see something fun. ]

Hmmm, but it won't cause you problems? It's a bit of a horror show. I don't want to cause Fish too many problems. [ Messing around is messing around, after all. But back home, if he caused some mayhem, he could just leave the city for a few years before returning. That's not the case in this world. He can and can't lie low.

Besides, he likes Fish enough to not ruin their livelihood for funsies. They are cute and also are ranked low enough in terms of battle proficiency that Hisoka doesn't see enough gain in doing anything to earn their hate. 'Course, that might change if Fish ends up growing close to someone strong and would want to take revenge for them. But as it stands, there just isn't enough pleasure in it for him in destroying Fish's job and security. ]

Cause me problems? A bit of a horror show? How would your performance cause me any trouble, darling?

[ Fish says with the utmost innocence. Despite their whole sexy image, Fish isn't a very wise merfolk when it comes to people. They still trust people very easily, and that includes murder clowns like Hisoka. ]

[ How to put it? ]

It's audience participation and filled with, you know... blood and gore. All in good fun, of course. It's only meant to scare a little. People won't really die from it.

[ So he says. ]

So... fake blood and gore? My... that sounds like something more for an after midnight kind of stage.

Mmm, you get the idea, though.

Well, I'd still like to see you perform someday.

[ Fish is genuinely curious, but there's something rather... strange about what Hisoka is proposing. But they don't really have the best intuition... ]

It'll be a night to remember, etc. etc. [ He laughs -- it is bright and teasing. Hisoka wonders just how far it is that he can go with the audience and with Fish's naive nature. It'll be kind of fun. The magician will make a truly fantastic performance for his dear friend. :) ]
