[ the video opens with a man sitting at a desk. he paints quite an odd picture - looks to be in his mid-thirties, with long dark hair, wearing a black vest with a white shirt under it, rolled up to his elbows. odd tattoos cover his arms and move up the front of his neck as well.

he clears his throat, and a deep voice speaks. ]

Good evening. For those of you who don't know me, my name is V.

I'm looking for people interested in a wine and arts night. Specifically, right now I'm seeking those willing to work as instructors for painting, drawing, and other such mediums, for a modest group of people. I can provide the supplies for such hosting, as well as the space. I'm even prepared to provide monetary pay if that's a sticking point for performing the instructing.

I'm also seeking people willing to pose as models, once I've secured the instructors. And of course, knowing what kind of interest people would have in attending such a thing.

[ he reaches a hand up to brush his hair back. it's starting to get long; someone should tell him about hair bands. ]

I'm looking to host this at least once a month. We seem to lack an entry level experience for the art forms here, and I'd like to change that. And I don't think most people would turn up a chance for some good wine.

[ he smirks a bit. ]

One not so easily taught though, I find. And that is understandable; still, if you'd like to attend to check it out, I encourage it.

Even those of us with experience can sometimes get something out of it. Plus, there will be drinks and food.

Is that so? I can't say I know a lot about poetry.

I'll probably stop in, regardless. Even if only to see what sort of art we have that comes from other worlds.

There's various styles of poetry, and beyond that, various skill levels. Someone's first poem, however, can be just as powerful as the person who has written hundreds.

I'd be delighted to see you, then. I'm hoping we'll get quite the variety of people both participating and teaching.

Well, some people are genius, some work hard. It doesn't invalidate the other, of course.

You're exactly right about that. Hard work will be needed for either style, I believe. No one is ever perfect.
