video; un: ēsurit

[ the video opens with a man sitting at a desk. he paints quite an odd picture - looks to be in his mid-thirties, with long dark hair, wearing a black vest with a white shirt under it, rolled up to his elbows. odd tattoos cover his arms and move up the front of his neck as well.

he clears his throat, and a deep voice speaks. ]

Good evening. For those of you who don't know me, my name is V.

I'm looking for people interested in a wine and arts night. Specifically, right now I'm seeking those willing to work as instructors for painting, drawing, and other such mediums, for a modest group of people. I can provide the supplies for such hosting, as well as the space. I'm even prepared to provide monetary pay if that's a sticking point for performing the instructing.

I'm also seeking people willing to pose as models, once I've secured the instructors. And of course, knowing what kind of interest people would have in attending such a thing.

[ he reaches a hand up to brush his hair back. it's starting to get long; someone should tell him about hair bands. ]

I'm looking to host this at least once a month. We seem to lack an entry level experience for the art forms here, and I'd like to change that. And I don't think most people would turn up a chance for some good wine.

[ he smirks a bit. ]

You can respond to this post or contact me privately. [ he provides his contact information. ]

It's mostly used for things like wall decorations, or customizing hard objects. Sort of like making more durable stickers.

I've also dabbled in glassblowing, but I'm still a student myself there. And I get the feeling that's a bit more resource intensive than what you had in mind, anyway.

Mm, like I said, it's a less popular craft. But it's not much more difficult to set up for than sketching. I'll just need to make sure I have enough craft knives for anyone who wants to try.

And, um...maybe protective gloves, for the less dexterous.
foolishjustice: (May I help you?)

It's Goro Akechi. What about you?

[And he'll send a list consisting of adhesive backed vinyl sheets, craft knives, scissors, sketching supplies, tape, and thick gloves for anyone nervous about having their fingers near the knife blade while cutting.
foolishjustice: (It's a pleasure to meet you.)

[A...strange name. Sounds self-assigned, better not to pry.]

That works fine for me, since I was considering keeping an eye out in case any of the media being taught seems interesting. I'm always happy to learn new skills.
