[ the video opens with a man sitting at a desk. he paints quite an odd picture - looks to be in his mid-thirties, with long dark hair, wearing a black vest with a white shirt under it, rolled up to his elbows. odd tattoos cover his arms and move up the front of his neck as well.

he clears his throat, and a deep voice speaks. ]

Good evening. For those of you who don't know me, my name is V.

I'm looking for people interested in a wine and arts night. Specifically, right now I'm seeking those willing to work as instructors for painting, drawing, and other such mediums, for a modest group of people. I can provide the supplies for such hosting, as well as the space. I'm even prepared to provide monetary pay if that's a sticking point for performing the instructing.

I'm also seeking people willing to pose as models, once I've secured the instructors. And of course, knowing what kind of interest people would have in attending such a thing.

[ he reaches a hand up to brush his hair back. it's starting to get long; someone should tell him about hair bands. ]

I'm looking to host this at least once a month. We seem to lack an entry level experience for the art forms here, and I'd like to change that. And I don't think most people would turn up a chance for some good wine.

[ he smirks a bit. ]

You can respond to this post or contact me privately. [ he provides his contact information. ]

( All she's ever heard of Duplicity has been... bad, to sum it up simply. Something akin to slavery and segregation? Far different from this place. She can understand people being wary and distrustful after being treated poorly in another place forcing intimacy on them.

She walks by him on her way to the kitchen and just lays a soft hand at his shoulder for a gentle squeeze, then a pass of curled fingers along his cheek before she goes to refresh her coffee. She'll bring him a cup of fresh tea anyway, set down beside him. A nice chai she received from a friend. )

Warming up from the inside out is a far easier task on your body. I'll see if I can't speak with him further; no pointed questions asked, of course.

( He should be fine, yes, but she takes no chances on "should". Besides, as someone with perpetually cold hands herself, she knows how soothing it is on the joints just to have a hot mug between the palms. She's nothing if not mindful. )

I hope so, too. Just knowing you have support in this place is often a good enough start to settling in. I'll do what I can.
